OK folks, break it up, nothing to see here. It was a sad event when Michael Jackson, probably one of the most talented and energetic fifty year old men I know of passed away. But life goes on. Anderson Cooper needs to move on too and get out of the department of redundency department. There are other stories out there that truly affect peoples' lives like the story that they're sitting on until they milk the Jackson story for all it's worth. I'm waiting to see the William Dillon case coverage, a man who was put in prison by a 'a man and his dog' John Preston. Preston was proven to be a fraud by our office and now old cases are coming up (like Dillon's) where the defendants are questioning old cases and being let out of prison decades after sentencing. Dillon, Ramos, Dedge, and now Gary Bennett might just be next. CNN, how long are you going to sit on that one?

Where was Katherine Jackson and all of Michael's family members when he neded them the most???

It seems that the same people who abused and abandoned him are back for what's left. Hmmmmm....

I agree with Sabrina in Las Vegas. I hope that the nanny, whom the children are most familar wih other than their father, will be asked to continue to care for them. Mr. Joe Jackson called her a 'friend of the family and a friend of the children', as if she was one of many and I'm sure that although she isn't the mother, she is more than just "a friend". I think the Grandmother is a good choice, but I question his father, who already appears to take Michael's death as some sort of opportunity for him. If I were Michael's mom (whom he seemed to have adored), I'd leave Joe J. if neccesary to do this one last thing for my son, Michael. That is take care of his children. Because of her age, I'd suggest that she appoints his sister Janet or whomever she deemed capable to care for them should something happen to her.

I am greatful that Michael parents are going to have temporary guardianship over the kids. I know the whole family will help with the kids. Stay strong!!!

    Bloggers:

Let us all pray for Michael's young children, that they do not
live the life that their father was forced to live at the hands of Joe.
Joe hurt his own son, if these children are not Michael's by way of DNA,
Joe could hurt them even more.
    Joe Jackson is eE-V-I-L to say the least;
    God bless these small souls!!!

    MR JOE JACKSON;

Get a real job and stop talking when the cameras are rolling.
You are showing everyone EXACTLY what Michael tried to tell us all for far too long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Good Evening Anderson:
Thank you for the continued coverage about Michael's
    untimely death.
I am certain that Joe ordered his wife to file the court papers this soon.
How can he even think right now, let alone manipulate everyone to do what he wants and how he wants it. I guess he is nervous that he will not be mentioned in his son's will and not get to abuse his grandkids.
As much as Michael needed counseling, Mr Joe Jackson needs serious help. Also, why did Joe send the moving vans to the rented home
so very soon? What was in that home that he needed to get out so fast?
Again, how can this man, who just lost his son, quite possibly at the hands of an accidental death or even worse, be able to order things to get done? Has he even shed a single tear? He certainly will when he learns that nothing was left for him. His greed and lack of love for his dead son is so apparent when he makes his speaches!!!
He needed to attend the BET awards to promote his record label knowing that there would be so many up and coming artists attending and those that were looking for a label to sign onto also...

I pray for those kids, his mom and the whole family. I wish people would just let them grieve and stop trying to pick every decision they make apart. The kids should be allowed to live with their grandmother if that is what the family wants

'grace, mercy and peace from God our father and Jesus Christ our Lord' to the "Jackson Family". I hope the children get to choose who they would like to be with and they get their wish granted, by choosing Mrs. Jackson .

I don't know any of these people personally, but it seems as though Rebbie, the oldest Jackson daughter, should get the custody of the children. Michael's parents love them and I am sure have the best interest, but they are older and Michael always had reservations about them. I feel so badly for these children, they need to be with someone who can raise them away from all the public eye and who can give them lots of love.

Joe Jackson was abusive to Michael. He does not seem to be upset at the death of his son. i just hope there is plenty of supervision from someone additional other than them.

actually, michael is NOT the biological father, it was a sperm donor. That's just a fact. the name of the donor is being kept private, however it has been confirmed by both sides that debbie rowe was impregnated by a donor

I think Janet, should be given custody of Michael's three children. I do believe that they were the closest of all the children. Katherine, should have them for now. But, she is eighty years old. how coould she possibly keep up with kids 12. 11 and 7? And I do believe Debbie Rowe, said she was artificially inseminated. If that's how you spell it.

The Godparents of Prince & Paris should get custody of all three.
These poor kids DO NOT NEED to be a part of the Jackson Family hideousness.
They have already petitioned for control of their estate as well.

Why would you ask if they searched the house for child pornography? Don't you think that if that was the issue Debbie Rowe would've been granted custody? We all know those children were never abused and Michael adored those children. His sole purpose of having children was to provide them with the love and nurturing that his own father never showed him when he was a child. Its not even about the money because Katherine Jackson is wonderful mother and Michael was closer to her than his father so for you to say that both his parents are the cause behind his issues is wrong. Joe Jackson is the sole reason why Michael had issues. And yes Michael is the biological father. Just because the Vitolago (sp?) changed his skin doesn't mean those kids were going to come out as dark as he once was. Bi-racial children vary in skin tones from anglo skin tones to the darkest brown skinned african-american skin tones.

They Should Stay With The Family, and the Mom should be a part of that.

This is the first time I am seeing their faces and with their natural hair color....they are adorable.

I sincerely hope that grandma can keep them out of the spot light and not allow her husband to make them the new "meal ticket".

I think the nanny needs to stay with them...she is the only one who has been there consistently in their conservatorship. You can't take two people away from children in a short time.

I think Janet is ultimately the one who should be the guardian. She was closed to him and there for the children.

I hope they get to enjoy their childhood and then decide as adults, what they would like to do.

Joe needs to not promote his stuff or his grandchildren for his own gain.

What was taken out of the house by the Jackson family?
Have they searched the house yet for child pornography?
Do they know if the children where abused?
You know darn well that dirt bag Joe Jackson wants his wife to get custody of those kids so he can obtain the Micheal Jackson fortune he could give two s!@# about those WHITE kids. Are they going to give the kids dna test so we know if Micheal Jackson is truely the biological father.

Rebbie Jackson should get custody of the children. She has proven herself able to raise Jackson children away from the public spotlight. These kids deserve a break.

I have always has suspicions about the USA's judicial system. The OJ trial, Madoff on house arrest, some really bizarre judgments in Los Angeles, and of course all the other celebrity and racial decisions that smack of corruption, self promotion and publicity stunts etc. etc.
But to award custody of MJ's kids to the same parents that he 'outed' to the public as responsible for beating and abusing him, as well as be, in MJ.s words, the cause of his lost childhood, is supremely incompetent, and shows complete lack or responsibility to ensure the welfare of the kids even for so called American justice.
Joe Jackson has already made his priority clear, his new record company, which he hopes will benefit from the from the publicity prolonged by his and the rest of the leeches he calls family. The Judge who ordered this needs to be removed from his position of authority where it is obvious he doe's not comprehend the need to protect the innocent kids from monsters like Joe Jackson. The Judge should ask whether he or she would allow Jackson to babysit his or her children ???

I hope she gets custody of the children but I sure wouldn't have asked for custody of the estate – Jackson owed millions of dollars at his death; probably far more than his estate will cover. The estate might be more trouble than its worth.

I feel really sorry and sad for Jackson's three little kids! I hope that who ever ends up getting permanent custody of them is doing so for the right reasons and takes great care of them giving them the support and love that they need. I hope they aren't used as pawns for money.

In all honesty I don't know who should get the kids since Michael's parents were the reason he turned out with so many problems.
