We feel as does Diana Ross; We are both heart broken about hearing this news. I, too, can't stop crying and have been glued to the tube all last night and most of today! It is unbelievable that this is a reality. It is a tremendous lost for us all. I hope his family can gaiin strength from each other and God's word the bible.

We are HONORED to live in the era of a bright sun named Michael Jackson.

I wish he was alive just 1 more day so we can tell him how much we appreciate, how much much we love and care for him. He told & showed us how much he cared but we FAILED.

I agree with the post that it would be great if there could be a place to visit such as Neverland (anything of the ilk of Graceland). The ongoing stream of visitors would be unbelievable. With time, it would generate enough monies to pay his debts and continue to fund his children's trust.

I have a question about the "family lawyer". He knew that Michael Jackson was doing these drugs, he said he tried to warn the family, but why didn't he do anything himself about it? He also stated, "If you think Anna Nicole Smith was bad, you haven't seen anything yet." Why isn't anything being brought up against this "family lawyer"?

"Micheal and Elvis may have both met their untimely end due to too many class A narcotics and NO ONE could say no to enabling them i.e. doctors gave scripts for the drugs but Elvis died constipated on the porcelain thrown 60 pounds overweight that's how they found him. Micheal was 60 pounds under weight and the official cause still not official. Making comparisons of the two in death is really pointless"

It's tough to grow up and see the ones that made the journey worth while leave on an exit too soon. He recorded some of the best-selling albums in history and has left a legacy of his music and career-a token of memory for those that witnessed his journey and an inspiration for those yet to fall in love with the King of Pop.

He has united the whole world. Everyone wants to dance to his music, sing his songs, dress and act just like him. He made quite a tremendous impression on people of all ages and all nationalities. I also get sick to my stomach when I see his father on TV and the domino effect that he is responsible for.

I was saddened when I heard of Michael Jackon's death yesterday. The world lost a truly gifted musician and there will never be anyone else to fill his shoes. I was fortunate enough to see the Jackson 5 in concert at the age of 12 and never fogot the electricity the group brought to the stage. Michael was gifted far beyond his years. In an interview years ago he said the song, "Have you seen my childhood" could have been his autobiography and if you really listened to the lyrics, you gained a sense of who Michael really was. No matter what your personal opinion may have been of him, noone can deny the phenomenal talents he possessed. From his smooth voice to the electrifying dance moves he created on stage, he was indeed one of a kind. He can now be young forever and not be condemned for it. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I just want to say its a sad loss for everyone, he was an amazing legend through everything. It gets tiresome of listening to lies about MJ. He was found NOT guilty = Innocent! the media put him in a box and then called him weird and eccentric. RIP MJ

Michael Jackson is was and will continue to be an iconic individual in the History of Music. He was instrumental in the way Music was seen heard and viewed. Inventing, creating and instilling what became Music Video's of today thru productions such as Thriller- The first of it's kind. a movie like Music Video which changed and paved the way of what we watch today... that was started on MTV by Michael Jackson.

Let's not forget to for front The Purpose of all this notoriety regarding his death. "HE WAS A SUPERSTAR" HE IS A LEGEND! Judgement is not in the hands of society but in the hand of God... we all do are best, we give back what we can. None of us in this world are without fault or sin.

He gave back- He gave Joy- He gave Hope-Peace and Love to a Billion people across the land. He gave his childhood and reverenced the adults that directed him. He gave his LIFE... to all of us!

He produced beautiful Music for all of us to enjoy... Addicted or not, Michael Jackson is history to all of us! He is unmeasurable and will forever be remembered for not just being The Hollywood Name
"The King of POP" but hopefully even a deeper memory of rather a
human being that was born with the music in him. He moved on pure natural ability and an instinct within that allowed to to be who he was.
Michael Jackson the man.... this is who he was. A gifted individual who knew at a very young age he had the power of Music in him... and along with that came his dedication to perfection to give to the world the best he had within him... irrelevant of imperfections- I would hope THE WORLD COULD GIVE BACK JUST A MOMENT OF SILENCE BACK TO HIM IN HIS HONOR FOR ALL HE HAS GIVEN TO US. A life long dedication to the passion of music and talent he held so closely to his heart... that in these early hours of his death we could focus on all of his goodness and not just his wordly imperfections....

i dIdn't finish my earlier blog due to tear filled eyes. I grew up with Michaels' music and many nights his voice gave me comfort and happiness. It saddened me when he went through his legal problems, I believe he would still be with us if he loved himself as much as we loved him! Prayers to his family, especially his beloved children. RIP Michael Jackson!

My name is Julia and I am 64 yrs. old and live in PR. I didn't always live in PR and I haven't always been 64. I grew up w/Michael as well as Elvis, the Beatles and hundreds of others. Michael Jackson is truly the one of the best that we have had the pleasure of knowing and enjoying. Michael lived to give us all pleasure and so he did in a big, big way so that we will never forget.

Unfortunately there must've been something awful in his life that he wanted to blur out for he tried to hard to change his whole being in such a drastic way. I don't think that any of us will ever really know, except that he did achieve what he set out to do in his life and that was to give us all pleasure for the rest of our lives, and if you don't believe it just play any one of his songs and see the magic. Rest in peace Michael for you accomplished your goal, how many of us do that?

My deepest sympathy for his family especially his mom, I'm sure she must be in deep sorrow. Michael might be gone but he will never be forgotten of that I am sure.

PS: Love your show Anderson, thanks for the good work.

    Dearest Michael,

With your passing I feel as if music itself has died. It is painful and tragic that we will never realise the genius that you had instore for us, that magic is lost to us forever. Although heartbreaking, we can find consolation in the fact that in your last days, the millions of fans that were anticipating your grand return had assured you that you are loved. Can we be so blessed to witness another such as yourself in our lifetime? Truly the King of Music has passed on, but you will live on forever. RIP.

My favorite Michael Jackson performance was the Motown 25th Anniversary special. I was mesmerized by his dance moves. Man, could he dance!
