As family, friends and fans mourn the death of Michael Jackson, a clearer picture is emerging of what happened just hours before his death. We'll have the latest development for you tonight on AC360°.

We also know about the tense moments inside Jackson's home as his personal physician tried with out success to save his life with CPR. The 911 call was released today.  We'll play part of it for you.  That doctor has been identified as Conrad Murray, a cardiologist who works in Las Vegas and Houston, and who is licensed to practice medicine in California. Last night, police towed the car he was driving away from Jackson's rented mansion. Officials say the car may contain "medications pertinent to the investigation."

Did drugs contribute to Jackson's death? We'll talk over the possibility with 360 M.D. Sanjay Gupta and addiction specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky.

We'll also look at what the future might be for Jackson's three children. Who will get custody of them?

There's also the role that Jackson played as a racial trailblazer. He was the first African-American star on MTV.

Did Jackson influence your life? Share your memories below.

And, join us at 10pm ET for all this and more on the life and death of Michael Jackson. See you then!

What Michael Jackson achieved in music was God given it was his destiny. This was the platform God gave him to do many great things on the earth. There will never be another like him because he was one of a kind like Martin Luther King Jr. and many other great people who made a difference in so many people life. It may have been a lyric in one of his songs that gave someone courage or insight like his song Black & White, We Are The World. I believe that the negative things that happen in our lives causes us to loose focus on our purpose. I believe Michael's assignment on the earth wasn't finish he left us to soon. My heart is sorrowful, we will all miss him. My prayer goes out to his children, mother, father and family.

Why is no one talking about a cardiologist trying to do CPR on a bed ? Anyone who has taken the most basic of CPR course knows you need a firm surface under the patient. I heard on the 911 call the first thing the operator told him was to get him off the bed and onto the floor. Where was this doctors head at?
The other comment i have is why were the paramedics on scene for 42 minutes? They had an unresponsive non breathing patient. This alone puts the patient in the rapid transport catagory. Paramedics are trained about the golden hour. This means you have ideally one hour from the time the incident occurs till the patient is in the operating room. Taking 42 minutes before transporting is totally unacceptable. The patient should have been assessed and on his way in under ten minutes. This would have given the ucla team a lot better chance at reviving the patient

As I watched a program this evening, I saw that Michael Jackson's nose was the same as the character Peter Pan. His decision to change his nose to how it looked recently made much more sense and his appearance doesn't seem so bizarre.

Please don't continue to show the recent transporting of the body from the helicopter to the ambulance and the picture of Michael in the coma. being brought to the hospital.

I was in Tenth grade in NY City when the Jackson5 were first out. I have loved Michael ever since. The World is different without him, I am truly going through a depression over hearing he is gone. He lives, forever, however. One thing I ask, whatever Memorial we give in his honor, please do not let Rev Al Sharpton be a major part. Michael's life was dedicated to bringing people together.. Sharptons live has always been about dividing us.

for years he is crying for help.. all this guy needed was a little tlc.. and altough you dont need to be a psychiatrist to understand all the pressure he was under(concerts, getting ol and still need to dance like at 25, financial pressure, a lots of people around wanting money only, new pop singers competition and losing his ranch) shame on his mother .. shame on his brothers... shame on his friends!!! that should lead us to the conclusion.. how many like him? with no moral support.. and i am not talking about doctors and institutions..

Besides his wicked song beats, astonishing performance, quirky sense of humor and childlike behavior, what really drew me to Michael was the message of his music. Through songs such as: “We’re the World”, “Man in the mirror”, “Heal the world”, and so forth, Michael advocated for social awareness and justice in the world. His endless and selfless efforts, commitment and determination to assume social responsibility and use his stardom as well as resources to ease some of the worlds pain is the primary reason why I’ve always had such immense respect, admiration and love for him. He might have been a huge paradigm shifter in world culture and thus influential to many people, but to me he was the prime inspiration in my life (since I was like 7yrs old) who motivated me to wanting to help others in need and to give back to society. I will always remember him for the true humanitarian he was. I dearly love Michael & will miss him deeply, however I do hope he finally found the peace he never got in life.

For all the haters... Michael is gone, please let him and his fans be, let the man for once and all rest in peace!

I have two questions , 1.If the Dr that was with Michael Jackson was a heart specialist "why was he trying CPR" on the bed ? Also 2. Would a heart specialist not know you wouldn't be giving someone with chest pains a shot of Demerol ?

Oh and why wouldn't he have ordered an ambulance the night before when he started having chest pains ?

    Thank you ,

I hope this brings awareness that addiction is a serious problem crossing all social boundaries. I'm sure what would make the King of Pop the happiest would be that somebody somewhere finds the courage to 'change their ways'
