Tonight on 360°, we have breaking news on the crash of Air France Flight 447. Brazilian authorities say they've found the wreckage of the jet in the Atlantic Ocean. We'll have all the details in a live report.

@LiteralK I have refused treatment too. Not giving him an excuse, but it does screw with the mind even more when you know there is treatment. He might have not gone and done something so bad if he got some help.
hey anderson whats up i love the show im glad they found wreckage and as for scott roeder i understand the mental illness but i think he did it and knowingly did so

That doesn't justify the shameful political assassination of Dr. Tiller.
You'd think that if Scott Roeder were in a legitimate politcal organization, someone in that organization might have helped him to find help.
Is he pleading guilty or not guilty at this point, I'm sorry I didn't catch that. Yes, I'm sure his family is terribly hurt by all of this.

But why an anti-abortion supporter would believe that this man did not have the right to live, as opposed to a fetus is proof of this man's utter stupidity.

The rationale is that by taking one life you save hundreds or even thousands.
His defense better not try an insanity plea. The man planned this murder and knew exactly what he was doing.

I can understand how someone can take a while to get help for mental disorders. I am bipolar and still find it troubling....

@Casey, they knew within a reasonable area where Titanic went down. Also the wreckage is pretty well contained. The floating wreckage they found would have drifted from where the aircraft went down, plus it was probably scattered. Yes they have the technology to find it, if they want to invest the time and effort.
I can't imagine how hard all of this must be for Lindsey Roeder to talk about this and absorb all that he's done. She gets major kudos for doing this interview.
obsessive/compulsive disorder is a better diagnosis than schizophrenia for this man.
Just goes to show that you can be married to someone who turns into a monster before your eyes...So sad feel so bad for the ex Mrs.Roeder..

You make an excellent point. If pressure was lost in the cabin of the plane, everyone may have lost conciousness!
Evening Anderson, Erica, everyone. I'm sorry to hear the Air France flight is being declared lost at sea, my thoughts and prayers go out the friends and family of people on that flight.
Tom Foreman says that the plane sent out equipment reports to a computer for four minutes. Are those reports monitored or do they come up on the screen of someone monitoring.?
I just have trouble understanding a person who proposes to be pro life... Kill someone. That is an oxymoron!!!

@Rikki...the guy is a little nuts, unofficially. From what little we've heard he is not a rational person.
Would we expect Scott Roeder to be anything but a passive aggressive jerk? He's a sick, sick individual.
Very good to know that the murderer of Dr. George Tiller has been charged with first-degree murder. He can to be with an unbalanced person.

Given the water depth and how spread out the wreckage is, it will be very hard to find the black boxes to help figure out what happened.

Such tragedy with the Air France flight. My thoughts and prayers to the families and loved ones of the victims.
It makes me so sad that this man took another man's life and he doesn't seem to care...he's not even affected by it.
I hope the families will find peace knowing that everything is final with the lost airline.

I'm wondering if the pilots might have passed out–that's why there was no communication?
This is a tragedy that will affect more than 30 different nationalities, a pain for many families.
Hi everyone! This is a challenging air crash investigation.
The investigations of the accident will be with France, where the aircraft was registered, but Brazil will be responsible for the search for bodies and wreckage
so sad how the plane was lost at sea, hopefully we can find the planes last moments..

It’s very sad to know a little history of passengers. Some were working; others were a pleasure … lives broken and families destroyed.
