I am soooo fed up with people talking about race...the first black president, the first latino on the Supreme Court...If America wants to stop people from judging on race, then EVERYONE needs to stop "pigeon holing" people into a certain category. I am white, as far as I know I am a mix of Swedish, German, and Irish...quite frankly I don't have an absolute clue. No one asks me to pin point what country my ancestors came from. In reality, I should have to because the true "Americans" are Native Americans. I am not considered German because I have 1/4 in me, yet we ask African Americans to check that box even if their 1/8 (I'm guessing) black. In my mind, you're either a citizen of the United States or your not. No one needs to know that you had a black father and white mother, or for that matter a German father and an English mother. When I see someone for the first time, I notice (only notice, no judgement) male or female, color of hair and skin, fat or skinny, color of eyes, good looking or not good looking, what their wearing...everyone does it. Quite frankly, I am not interested nor do I think the United States Census or media should be interested in what someone's race is. My only interest in someone is whether or not he/she is nice to me and treats me with respect...and the United States should be interested in making sure people are obeying the laws of our land.

According to the American Bar Association, Sotomayor is a member of La Raza, an organization that advocates the superiority of their race (Hispanic) over all others. This fact should put her comments and rulings in their proper perspectives.

If A White man, who is a Republican had made the same remarks, he would not have made it past the first day. And you all know this. Ever since Obama started running for POTUS, white people have had to watch ever word they say, or they are labeled a RACIST. Meanwhile all of Obama's friends and Co-Horts, can say anything that even smells like Racism and right away, it wasn't meant that why, It was just taken out of "CONTEXT."
