Tonight on AC360°, stunning allegations of highway robbery in a small Texas town. Dozens of drivers claim they've been held up for cash, cars and jewelry. Even more shocking is who some victims are blaming – the police who deny the accusations against them.

Don't miss Erica Hill's webcast on Gary Tuchman's report during the commercials. Watch our WEBCAST

@Isabel yes you're right, we should be able to trust the police. Trust is the basis of a warm relationship though. It's the warmth of the relationship itself.

Very tough of Elizabeth Edwards to what purpose?

Anderson, Jay got you in trouble but he came to your defense too.

Good night Isabel, good night eveyone.

Anderson, when you said that you may have crossed a line I thought you meant that you were gonna admit your mistake is saying that Danny was going home 🙂 And how is it that every time you go on another show you end up as the butt of the joke for the shot on your own show?

Excellent show tonight, so many incredible stories! Nic excellent interview, stay safe! Gary Tuchman, excellent as always! And Sanjay with the face transplant graphics...amazing! Have a great night and a wonderful tomorrow!

Anderson–I'm guessing Adam's going to win, too. Apparently he's not the popular choice.
Don't apologize for fast forwarding thru Paula, I'm sure you're not the only one...*ahem*
    Goodnight, everyone!!!

Come on, Anderson's right about Paula Abdul – but it cracks me up how AC gets himself into trouble by telling the truth about these reality stars.

why doesnt she want to believe John Edwards is the father of that baby? There is a high possibility given we know what they did!!!! Is that the worst that can happen? The Guy is a jerk, why would she want to believe him.

John Edwards should be ashamed of himself! If he is guilty of using campaign money for his mistress I hope he is prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

The Edward's marriage is their business and no one elses. I'm so tired of hearing people put her down. To my knowledge, she was never asked "did your husband have an affair?", to which she lied and said "no". She just did not make her personal business public. To be worried about what would have happened if he became president and this came out, well, we already know what would have happened. It didn't hurt President Clinton one bit, did it?

@Casey Jones, I suppose but generally there's a milieu of corruption or that necessitates that kind of aggressiveness, abuse of rights on the part of the police.

I think Nic Robertson is brave to arrange an intvw w that Taliban leader. Why is Pakistan going into the Swat valley? Is that what they're doing? I'm not sure what to think about Pakistan, the possibility of large numbers people being displaced is worrying, but I'm not sure what to make of Rep Ackerman's analysis.

This story about Patricia Culp's face transplant is incredibly disturbing but it is good that they have a way of performing surgery to help heal someone who has been so severly wounded. Heartbreaking.

If I were Elizabeth Edwards, I would have turned him out, saying don't let the door hit you on the way out.

We weren't married, but I can testify that when infidelity comes up, it really can be very complicated. Sure, you're angry and hurt but it's not like you instantly stop loving him. I imagine it's only more complicated if he's the father of your children.

    Try not to judge her.

Texas is not a bad state, remember there are people with bad intentions in every state not just one state. Look around you and quit being so judgemental.
