Tonight on 360°, bullied to death. A child taunted at school takes his own life. Who's to blame?

And could the school have stopped the teasing? Carl Joseph Walker Hoover’s mom says kids taunted him saying "you act gay" and "you look gay." Today thousands of students across America participated in a Day of Silence to draw attention to anti-gay harassment in schools. We’ll have all the angles.

And, don't miss Erica Hill's webcast on bullying and tonight's other headlines during the commercials. Watch our WEBCAST

Keep in mind, you have a better chance of having your comment get past our moderators if you follow our rules.

Here are some of them:

1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")

2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)

3) Use your real name (first name only is fine)

4) No links

5) Watch your language (keep it G-rated; PG at worst - and that includes $#&*)

And take a look at our live web camera from the 360° studio. Watch the WEBCAM

If the area is that area is really big, the only way to "shrink" it is to do it from space. Google has the power – I bet we do to. Let's use it.

The truest heroes are those that don't see themselves as heroes...they feel they were just doing their job! Captain Phillips is a true hero!

It's kind of hard to get into news-mode after hearing Susan Boyle sing. Hopefully she'll be on every night somewhere.

Capt. Phillips is such a humble man. He may not think so, but he too is a hero!

Wow, the pirate will be on trial in NYC? Didn't see that one coming.
I'm hoping we can resolve the pirate situation with as little bloodshed as possible.

Happy Friday, everyone. I'm with Esma...Captain Phillips is certainly a hero, and his modesty only makes him more of one.

If I saw that pirate out on the street being led somewhere surrounded by police....I'd point my finger and laugh at his embarrassment.

In the old days the captured pirate would have been tried by the Navy and hung by now.

I'm glad that AC360 is continuing to follow what happens because of anti-gay harassment.
The Day of Silence is a great event. I did it for the last 2 years of High School (in small town schools, there weren't a ton of others doing it too, but a great bunch of participators all the same), and I think it's a worthwhile cause. People ask questions and the information DOS provides is useful to those unfamiliar with it.
