How crazy is that? How could someone do something like that? There is absolutely no love there. No love whatsoever.

Shouldn't you have blurred the little girl's face? The camera quality isn't good of course but I thought you had to for minors.

Interesting & strange. In this tough economic environment people took the opportunity for some camera time and took to the streets to protest a wide variety of things from Polar Bears to police brutality. Hmmm.

I saw Blagojevich here at CNN a couple months ago. His bangs were hypnotic."

So, Jack, did you play with them?

    April 2, 2009 at 10:39 pm |
  27. May-Tennessee

Blago's bangs...if you could get a pair of them, they would make great mud flaps for a 4×4.

Hypnotic, Jack? That would explain a lot, wouldn't it.

It is so sad the people have such poor representatives.

If it is consolation, this thing happens in many places.

    April 2, 2009 at 10:38 pm |
  34. Lori from IL

oh no........the people of IL are trying to forget about Blago - the trial can't come too soon as far as I'm concerned.

Jeff Tobin - you have my condolences for meeting Blago.

Do these protesters ever do anything but smash and fight? Why don't they fan out across the world and bring food to hungry people, help bulid them homes and grow crops and really make a difference.

    Blago so confident

As I recall...the queen showed more warmth towards people and she seemed to be more open after the death of princess diana...when the brits complained about her not showing any emotion at the time.

also, if the palace made a statement that the protocol wasnt breach..then it wasnt–end of story.

innocent before proven guilty? That only worked in the American of 40 years ago

Blago is truly out of his mind.....the indictments are many and most are felonies! I doubt very much that he will "beat" all of the charges.

  43. Elaine, Des Moines, IA

The Queen seemed to enjoy being around the First Lady so she showed it. I thought it was nice.

Ah, Anderson you wouldn't fall apart if you met the Queen.

    April 2, 2009 at 10:35 pm |
  44. Miss J

I'm sure Anderson is having so much fun in London.

    April 2, 2009 at 10:35 pm |

I think Geithner has recieved kind of a bumb wrap because of his public speaking abilities - he's one smart cookie and I think this came across in his interview with Anderson.

    April 2, 2009 at 10:35 pm |
  46. Karen C

I find it quite interesting the Queen was comfortable enough to initiate that. (I don't know why they don't show before that – maybe the camera didn't start until then?) It speaks to how warm and open Michelle Obama is. There are some people you simply feel open towards. And the Queen is my mom's age. She tells me you just start to regard things that used to be important quite differently the older you get.

Love the banter between Anderson and Richard Quest. So when does Anderson meet the Queen??
