Tonight on AC360°, there are reports that singers Chris Brown and Rihanna are in a recording studio working on a duet. That's even though Brown is accused of brutally beating Rihanna, punching her repeatedly in the face until she was bloody. He also allegedly threatened to kill her. Oprah Winfrey warns Rihanna he will hit her again. Tonight, we look at the question: Why do battered women go back to the men who attack them? Let's keep this live blog going on this topic. We'd love to hear your thoughts. Sound off below.

Here are some of them:
1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book")
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (there's no need to yell)

Great discussion tonight, everyone. Everybody sleep well. Kira, thanks for joining us! Anderson, get home safely and soon, buddy!
Cheryl...you're in my thoughts. Stay safe.
Now that was some fast undressing. See you all tomorrow night.
What?? What happens again?? How could he do that in the shot??
Thanks for a little smile 🙂
It has been a good show tonight, sad story but good show.
Good night Anderson, floor crews and all bloggers.
Hope you all have a good day tomorrow.
Sweet dreams!!
Anderson...
I just watched your piece on education. I work for a community college in Ca. I have taken an informal poll of adults for the last two years regarding their education. I have one question: how many teachers inspired you to excel and believe anything is possible. The average answer for over 400 individuals – three (3)!
I have one question for educators: what are the rest of you doing?
Tenure is a cancer call mediocrity that has spread throughout the education system.
@Kira,
Not on their own, not without help. It sounds like it is a messy combination of not only abuse, but also anger or rage issues to act out impulsively– this person would have to be treated on many levels and need professional intercession. That is why Rhiana was nieve to get back together w. Chris Brown. It sounds like he has a host of problems which is why she is putting her life in peril.
I just wanted to add that many young people, especially young men have totally different personalities when they drink alchohol. Alcohol can totally change a person's actions. I do not mean to trivialize what has happened here, but Chris Brown may not be an abuser. He may just be a young man that can not handle drugs or alcohol when he gets mad. He is also such a young man who is probably emotionally immature, so if you add alcohol with his youth, thiscould be a bad combination. He needs to definitely get help if this is the case and give up the things that might make him do things that he normally would never do.
Well Good Night Anderson and fellow bloogers. See Ya tomorrow.
OMG! HOW DID THAT GUY DO THAT!!!!!??? [Was that Anderson just before darting from the studio after the show is over?]
Now THAT'S a shot. I'm sure many models are jealous.
Goodnight, everyone, thanks for such a wonderful show tonight!
What will it take for women to understand that if they have been abused once they will for sure be abused again with more force?
Well, look at the reactions.
Chris Brown (allegedly, ha ha) beat Rhianna quite badly. Was there an outpouring of sympathy for her? Is there an outcry for him to be put in jail?
No. Instead people have stretched for any and every excuse for Chris Brown. She drove him to it. It wasn't that bad. he's having a hard time. Oh no, the economy. She cheated on him. She lied. It all amounts to "she deserved it". And then, after HE gets sympathy from virtually everyone for beating HER, and she gets none, people wonder why she goes back to him. This is, in a microcosm, what happens to every abused woman. No matter how badly she is beaten, no one cares – everyone tells her she deserves it and excuses his behavior. Where is she going to go? Where are her friends? Where is her support?
Goodnight everyone.
Hope you can continue the education discussion soon, Anderson. It's about time more attention was paid to such a hugely important profession.
Shot of undresser hysterical!
Hope everyone has a great night. Anderson, thanks for another super show. Our prayers are with the folks in Alabama.
@ mando, i think it varies state by state isnt there a guy in wisco serving jail time because the trigger jammed and the gun shot off several rounds and it was considered a semi auto matic?? i know lou dobbs was freaking about the guy being in jail thats why i remember the story
The internets? Plural? Really? Did you just say that?
That does look a bit painful! Nice disclaimer Anderson!
Wow, that was impressive.....and quick!
Have a great night, everyone!
Well, it's getting that time. Evening Anderson, Erica, David G, Kira, CNN and all you great bloggers out there.

Speak serious ... He took the clothes ... lol...
@ Cheryl–please call someone you trust and get out of there. The things you're describing tend to escalate.
