Sarah A. Thanks for your comment. You have a good point, maybe a good argument for an increase in corporate taxes. I was thinking that sometimes people who make 170,000 a year don't make that much every year.

Everyone's been saying that the 5% of people who are going to see an increase in taxes is "sharing the wealth". It's not sharing the wealth, its economic fairness. The more a person makes the more they should pay. Close the loopholes for the very wealthiest in our society and the economy will improve because then everyone will be paying their fair share.

While the job loss from discontinuing the F-22 program would be devastating, the more important issue is the sacrifice of American air superiority. It may be true that most terrorist organizations don't possess the technology to give the Raptor a fight, but it is also true that countries like North Korea and Iran are rapidly increasing their military might. These could be the enemies of the future, and the Raptor could play a vital role in protecting our country. In todays world, military spending is a necessity, not an option.

Our last dog, one of god's wonderful creatures, was named Moose.
