A few weeks ago, Obama made a big statement by conducting his first interview after taking office with Al-Arabiya, an Arab TV network. In the interview, he said: "My job to the Muslim world is to communicate that the Americans are not your enemy...But ultimately, people are going to judge me not by my words but by my actions and my administration's actions."

And this is the part that I hung on to – Obama's desire to reach out to the Muslim world is not a rhetorical gesture, but a concrete initiative. And he's making it happen already.

On Wednesday, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton traveled to Jakarta in Indonesia as part of an effort to honor the hard-won democracy of the country and to include the oft-neglected region of Southeast Asia. She said: "If you want to know if Islam, democracy, modernity and women's rights can coexist, go to Indonesia."

Reaching out to the Muslim world won't work. History proves that. If it did, there would be peace between Israel and the Palestinians. It is a well known fact you can't negotiate with muslims. It is like negotiating with a brick wall. Winning the hearts and minds of the muslims won't work either. Islam is a violent religion. 95% of all suicide bombings are done by muslims. It would be hard for anybody to argue with that. In my opinion, our socialist president Barack Hussein Obama shouldn't waste his time sending memebers of his staff to reach out to the muslim world. It is a waste of time.

President Obama is doing what was and should be done and that is reaching out to all people all nations.

We are one people. We stand on two feet and have intelligence.

We live in the same world; we should try to civil and get along for the good of all people,

President Obama is on the money.

Sometimes we reach out for the future and come back with a radio.

We should be reaching out in the US before we decide to peddle democracy abroad--there is much to be done here first.
