good evening everyone..
Come on Anderson - Give President Obama a break over the tax cuts. We all know the bill is a compromise and not exactly what the president wanted.
Wow, I did *not* need to see that octumom pic...
Aren't the GOP clever? NOT! We are so divided as a nation. David Gergen is right!
Have the" republicans- against- anything- not- republican" declared war and made a stance that merely a reflects the chasm that is long standing?
Middle class tax cuts? do they really exist?
Good riddance...Please move on Mr. President these repubs are starting to make me ill. Their like children
I think the Republicans are making themselves look bad. And if they have declared a war on Obama...how sad. Seems like a bunch of playground bullies who don't like that they got beat at their own game....
Hi Anderson.
Mike, Syracuse NY, I have to agree. This was no coincidence. I think Gregg saw the writing on the wall, he saw what they were up to. The Dems are no more bipartisan than the Republicans.
I work for a non union company and proud of it! I don't like the idea of unions getting an indefinite amount of time for unions to turn a company into a union company insted of the normal voting prosess. Also, I strive on the idea of being paid based on my hard-working skill. I don't want to be paid just as much as the biggest slacker
I'm beginning to wonder if they are ever going to get a full cabinet together? It is an embarrassment to the Obama Administration. We really all just need to put politics aside and work together.
It's a conspiracy. These people are really trying to do Obama in?
Good evening Anderson, Randi, AC360 crews, and bloggers.
Hope you all had a good day today.
Time goes fast. It is almost Friday again.
Complicated situation, in political terms, this decline to the Pres. Obama.
Pres. have suffered low in important positions.
Commerce secretary really is a pretty unimportant position. I think that might been part of Judd pulling out as well. Maybe he just had no clue what he was agreeing to until it was too late. (Hard to imagine, but...)
Having said that, I have no faith in this administration right now. We're looking at adding trillions of dollars to the deficit in a fraction of the time that the Bush admin did.
Just because Bush's approaches were flawed doesn't mean that these approaches will work. I'm unconvinced.
A simple solution to this partisan conflict would be to limit senate terms to 6 years. That way they would be forced to care more about the American people than worrying about getting elected next cycle.
What???? people do not trust Congress, Tom? My goodness, I cannot imagine. LOL
The Republicans are being partisan? How many Democrats supported Bush's domestic policies such as tax cuts?
Good evening fellow bloggers -
Looking forward to a good chat tonight. Can't believe Gregg's actions –
or his words - he obviously knew the administration's stance before he campaigned for the position. Looks like he/ the Republican party was trying to "set up" an opportunity to make the president look bad.
Gregg situation is ridiculous! And if he really wanted to be gracious he could have done this on the Friday dump. The Republicans do not want to work with the President and it is sad, because this about our country and not their politics.
Republicans just don't understand all this "niceness" from a democratic president. They're confused and can't react properly.
Wow, I'm depressed at the lack of partisanship in Washington. Here's a new President trying so hard to get something done only to get roadblocked at every turn.
I'm truly disgusted with Republicans right now. What a bunch of poor losers. They've had 8 years to destroy our economy and now seem to want to do anything to undermine Pres. Obama's presidency. It makes me sick.
It is best for Mr Gregg to leave if he can't agree with the administration.
I think Judd Gregg has no class. His republican counterparts probably talked him into this.
I think Gregg withdrawing is pure politics. I agree with others- he had to have known this before- but the pressure got too tough from other Republicans- they are trying to make it difficult for President Obama.
The republicans are acting like children & have no interest in the people of america...lets keep them in their playpen (congress) & allow this president & the people clean up their mess.
If you guys don't want to participate, then just step out of the way.
I understand why Gregg pulled out. It's one thing to be in favor theoretically of everyone working together, it's another thing to be outnumbered by those who are on the opposite end of the spectrum from you in so many areas and have to work with them every day.
Good Evening AC, crew, panel members and bloggers.
I feel pretty angry about this republican so called issue with the census...they have done massive redistricting over the last 10 years and now they are afraid dem's are going to change the districts?
It's nice to see Obama laughing at himself and joking. That's what we need, someone who is able to be light-hearted while something serious is going on and able to handle the pressure. A good laugh can go a long way.
@ Emma – I was wondering the exact same thing. Wondering if I just was not paying that much attention in past administrations, or if this is truly odd that so many are dropping out. Hope Anderson answers that one.
Hi Anderson, bloggers. Commerce has owned the census for over 100 years. Now when a Republican was going to be in charge, the Dems wanted to pull it out of Commerce into the White House, a huge slap in the face to Gregg. Partisan to the core.
Comic secretary with Gregg on his face? The entitlement programs are still in need.
Has he given a reason for changing his mind?
Hello Anderson, CNN team and bloggers:) I can't wait to see which of CNN great analysts we have with us tonight.
Why is Judd Gregg acting as if the president begged him to take the job, when Gregg was the one who asked for the job? Did he forget that he was a Republican, but now he remembers?
Yes Emma that is normal of course.... I think 4th person
Regarding Gregg Pullout – I wonder if Rahm Emmanual took away the census responsibility in response to Gregg's lack of vote on Obama's stimulus policy – it sort of forced Judd Gregg to react to it.
Judd Gregg is full of it. Like he did not
know any of these things first. C'mon.
What did the Repubs offer him.
Good Evening 360 Bloggers. I'm disappointed that Greggs has pulled out.
Anderson,
I think this is the Republican's declaring "all out war" on President Obama. They can't handle his popularity and are going to due everything they can to see him fail - despite what they say. Actions speak louder than words. Hopefully, the American people will hold them accountable.
Hey everyone! So I hear the GOP has upped the ante and is now actually bulldozing its own grave? Can't Obama have one easy day?
good evening anderson, randi, ac360 crew and fellow smart bloggers..looking forward to another good show
Hi there Anderson
Hey bloggers! Let's get ready for some jolly good conspiracy, partisan fun! 🙂
That's the 4th or 5th person who has dropped out. Is this normal?

Obamaham Lincoln working to rebuild a reputation of the presidency that hasn't ever been a picture perfect profile...will he move on from the public platform to the more subtle servant of the people? Is he hammering home the the economic enhancement t he people passionately await?
