Editor's Note: After last night's show many of you had a lot to say about the economy. Some of you think that those talking the most are out of touch with the people who are hurting the most. Many people asked that the Obama children be left out of the news. Finally, a couple of viewers asked that we do an in-depth story on the double life, ‘living straight and being gay.’ Here's what a few of you had to say:
_________________________________________________________________________________________

Paul Begala, "quote" said tonight that people on unemployment will start spending more, more freely if they receive a unemployment raise. What is he smoking? I was just laid off 3 weeks ago and my weekly benefit amount is $292 a week after taxes. I was clearing over $1000 a week before being laid off. I cannot even make my house payment! This guy is a bit out of touch with reality. Stunning!!!

I am sick of Republican and Democrats bickering. Nothing pleases both parties. My solution is to have the $600B divided in half. The democrats spend one-half the way they want to and the republicans spend one-half the way they want to. Each side gets going immediately. Time will tell which is best. In the meantime, get going!

The Republicans lowered taxes for 8 years to the wealthy and look were the country is now. Let's try to fix roads, fix school, invest in education and for once help people without insurance for a change.

Would you please do an investigation into Kaiser Permanente's HR practices? The Lupoe family went through such hell that they chose death! I have heard MANY similar stories from friends of mine that have suffered severe abuse from their HR departments only to be laid off and cheated out of their severance pay, COBRA benefits, and much, much more. They are so depressed and are clinging to what little aid they can get to feed their families. There is so much fraud and such a lack of due diligence. It's bad enough that people are losing their jobs, but they shouldn't be treated the way they are. There are questions to be asked, awful practices to be exposed, and people to be held accountable! Hop to it!

I wish you would do an in depth investigation on this subject, not Haggard directly, but the double life straight/gay sex. I am currently in the process of divorce for the almost the exact thing with no drugs. While the politically correct thing is sympathy for the confused individual, fact is there are spouses and children being devastated by this.

I love the show, but I sure do wish you wouldn't report those stories that have to do with businesses exploiting the Obama children. I agree with Michelle Obama- leave the kids out.

The republican party faithfull in both houses sat on their rear ends the last 2 yrs while the economy was sinking into the abyss and didn't voice their opinion. Like Senator McCain they all probably thought the economy was fundamentally sound, they offered no ideas, new or otherwise instead they rubber stamped everything that President Bush wanted, now they're proposing ideas or I should say resistance to the new president. They cann't have it both ways, not a single republican in the house supported the iniciative, they must remember why they were voted into office in the first place. I would like you to put on your a republican that can show the american people a living example of someone that benefited from tricke down economics. Furthermore they claimed the proposed bill did not have enough tax deductions, they why aren't they not all in favor of a flat tax. Why isn't Sen. McCain not pushing his idea on a simplyfied tax code like he was on the campaing trail.

Hi Anderson, I heard on your segment on yesterday, 1/28/09, something about The Obama Girls Look-alike"It Girls". Can you tell me more and what is the next step? I have a seven year old Daughter who I think, and along with others, looks like Sasha Obama. When I first layed eyes on Sasha walking out on stage on November the 4, 2008, I said, OMG, look at VALERIA, my daughter. So please tell me how can get the message to First Lady, Michelle Obama? I would really like for her to see my daughter and even hope Valeria and Sasha could meet. Before yesterday, I was wondering how I could send First Lady, Michelle Obama Pictures of Valeria.

I believe we need to give Obama a chance and not just for a week! Look what we have right now–so many people looking for work, so many hungry(especially children), and so many without medical care! When I here about neighborhoods putting on bakesales and car washes so that a child can get the medical attention he or she needs, it makes me so angry!! What kind of a country lets her people suffer? What kind of a country has her leaders give themselves raises, while the majority are suffering? I am very afraid of where we are right now. I don't want President Obama to have time to have a beer at the neighborhood bar–we elected him into office to fix this mess we're in. Thank you for letting me sound off!!
