He is in such denial. Why cant the guy be honest with himself? You are either gay or you arent. You cant be straight with gay tendencies or whatever this pastor told him who had therapy from. I didnt realize a pastor was a phd or knew anything about psychology, neurology or psychiatrist. I think the more he talks the more hes trying to convince himself he not gay, but the more I listen, he seems in total denial. I just think its pathetic and sad. I think he is living a lie. I cant imagine having to pretend to be something Im not and to lie about it. To be both ashamed because of the world he tried to convince himself that he could be apart of and the shame of who he is and having to hide it. I think he is only going to make it worse for himself mentally. He goes from living a lie, to living more lies. Hes being honest and open with the media but hes not being honest and open with himself. Yeah I know the kids the wife. But I have to wonder whats going to happen at home when he finally cracks from all the lies and denial.

Haggard should just admit that he is gay and be done with it. The man has been living a lie his entire life. He should encourage others to be who they are also. I will be watching the interview tonight on Larry King!

What leads prominent names of evangelical, as Ted Haggard, to fall?
This thinking is extremely important. Yes, because the fall of Ted Haggard taught us some lessons about the true spirituality, which have often been neglected in favor of a speech and a style that might seem attractive, beautiful and spiritual, but that actually have nothing to do with real spirituality.

You can't cure these individual of their sexual deviance-–going to have to find another way of dealing with them--and there is only one way--
