I agree, I do not like adding money to the debt as well. However, how many of you posting now have gone to Thomas and read the bill? If you suggest tax cuts alone, you should know that is still spending. I can understand people wanting to keep more of their money, but then do you like pot holes, bridges falling appart, the high cost of health care, inefficent health care record management, the ability to watch your local news channels with an attena and not subscribe to cable TV, do you like our national parks that Theodore Roosevelt helped create, Police Protection? Do you like schools that have ceilings that leak and are so poorly insulated that children have to wear coats while learning? Well these things need upkeep and repair, investing in high speed rail will save money in the long run, help the environment, and produce jobs. Well I do and if we can afford for the past eight years to rebuild Iraq and provide jobs and Health Care to Iraq, we can provide money to Wall Street after they show they are unethical, I think we can help the working man and woman who built this country and fought its Wars. Go to Whitehouse.gov and submit your ideas and complaints and become part of the solution.
What is the official name of this stimulus bill, so we can look it up?
I am appalled at the fact that companies want to market the image of the first daughters. This puts more pressure on the young girls and other young kids. What if kids cannot have such an image? Companies need to find more effective ways of reaching tweens.
Listen all the bickering from conservatives about this package and the belief that it will not work is annoying, well lets here some real suggestions that will work, I'll wait...............what? None? That might be because no one knows for sure what will work and what will not, just because it's not a Republican bill doesn't mean it's a bill not worthy of your vote, get over yourselves.
