I don't know what Al Gore has been smoking. There is no proof beyond a reasonable doubt there is global warming. There are just as many scientist that do not agree that there is global warming. I believe this last winter was one of the coldest in history. It is the weather patterns that determine the temperatures. If there was a time when there could have been global warming, it would have happened in the industrial revolution. Coal was the primary fuel at that time and there were no pollution controls in that period. If he is so sure about global warming, why doesn't he tell China to reduce their emissions. I know what China would say to him.

Of all the legacies one man could be known for, this is the one that is the greatest. I know Al Gore works with many, many people on the global warming cause and they all deserve thanks and appreciation.

Try to save your forests, gorillas, and endangered species– Al is trying to save the human animal, who in turn will save the others.
Best of luck Al and team : )

Wondering why we dont have any jobs in the country? The u.s. govt. its desire to help the world, let companies export them to foreign countries.
They weren"t the poor jobs, they were the hi-tech ones.

We are asked to "BUY AMERICAN" American what? the govt lets everthing inported at such low costs we dont manufacture anything anymore. If we were to make it less profitable to import-and-sell, companies might actually build it here.
Other countries severly limit imports Whats Wrong With Us ?
Other countries have limits on the number of people moving in and taking jobs. We took down all the doors.
If the C.E.O.s and shareholders of U.S. companies weren"t so shortsighted, and greedy to get their profits, they mightly actually let their company grow to a point that the company could compeat..

In what former VP Gore says in this clip, there is the specter of not having enough clean drinking water in this century perhaps even in the first half of this century. This is happening in every country – in the US it is mostly in the west. Communities that depend on the glaciers in the inland mountains are seeing those glaciers shrink and less snow each winter season so the glaciers never recover completely from the melt during the warm seasons. So, the glaciers shrink and they are doing it faster once some of the spots around them become bare of snowfall and take in and radiate heat that melts more snow around them. In a few years these communities will not have enough clean fresh water for drinking, or irrigation or anything else. The only place the glaciers are not shrinking are 2 glaciers in Peru that appear to be increasing in size for some reason but are expected to eventually join the other glaciers and melt as well.

Why is (NOAA) saying that a dramatic reduction in carbon emissions, would fail to repair changes in surface temperature, rainfall and sea level?
