The economy will never recover until the U.S. trade policies are changed.
Every other industrialize nation has policies to protect their good paying jobs. We have allowed corporate greed to expand, at the expense of middle class jobs, through rediculous "free trade" agreements. Millions of dollars saved, by outsourcing jobs, ends up in the pockets of high level management and is not reflected in the actual costs to consumers.
The United States needs "balanced trade" agreements with it's trading partners. We import a billion dollars worth of products and our partner imports a billion dollars of our products and services. Without "balanced trade" one country becomes a "debtor" nation and an economic loser.
