He is out on his balcony. It is 2am.
I call them every hour; sometimes every few minutes when I see renewed bombardment on my television. Sometimes he calls me for assurance:
"What's going on? what's going ?" he repeats in a weary, hypnotic tone.
"It just felt like they bombed our street from the inside out. I can't see anything. I don't know what's happening. What's the news saying?" he asks frantically, desperate for any morsel of information that can make sense of the terror being wrought upon them.

What else can international community do to stop the fighting in Gaza?
The only one country which can literally influence greatly to stop the fighting is United States of America.
I think, the international community of US can protest this war and pursue demonstration in front of US embassy.
The wold watch whats going on in this war erea. Both sides have to stopp fighting right now.
I saw Laila and her father on with Don over the weekend. You know this has to be the worst thing for her to have to be continually worried if her father and family will even make it through this war. Thankfully they can still speak by phone...hopefully they will be able to continue doing that so he can get up dates and she can be sure he is OK.
Maybe there can be an agreement made soon to appease both sides and this will end with her dad and family safe and sound.
