Live Blog from the Anchor Desk 1/2/09

Tonight on 360°
Airstrikes continue in Gaza as Israel amasses troops and artillery at the border.

A ground assault could begin at any moment. We'll have a live report from Nic Robertson in Israel.

And tragedy strikes John Travolta and his family. His sixteen year old son dies while the family is on vacation.

We’re blogging throughout the hour, and we hope you will join us.

Just follow our rules. Here are some of them:

1) Keep it short (we don't have time to read a "book)
2) Don't write in ALL CAPS (we don't like screaming)
3) Use your real name

Anderson and Kathy had it easy, Erica was the one harassed by a drunk reveler.

For next year, I vote that Kathy Griffin be at the street level and Erica be up next to Anderson.

So,,,,,,, what I am understanding many of you to say is that HAMAS can bomb ISRAEL as much as it wants at any time causing it's people to live in fear on a minute by minute basis every day, and ISRAEL is suppose to do nothing, ever, at any time right????

ISRAEL is just suppose to allow them to shoot missiles into it's population on a daily basis and just suck it up right?????

You people have lost your minds! If it were the other way around you wouldn't be saying that!!!!!!

We start the new year with such sad news...a young man's death, the death of hundreds in Gaza and the terrible suffering of many people around the world.

    One wonders why?

I can't believe that disabled man was left strapped into that bus for any amount of time let alone overnight in the middle of winter. There must be more to that story. What about the bus driver? That question was brought up in an earlier report.

I am shocked by that hitman video. What disturbs me is that a person who c;aims to be a "goody two shoes" is laughing again and again ab out plotting a murder.
