I am an African American and I find the song completely degrading. First there are no Afican Americans that I know of that likes to be referred to as a Negro. Then for this African American man to get on TV and defend the song is an outrage. I have seen him speak before and believe that people bring him on shows to co-sign that blatant racist topics arent racist. To you notice that nothing that a normal African American would find offensive is ok with him. Nothing upsets this guy. You could probably hurl the N-word at him and he would say thank you. The song is awful. Everyone knows it. Anderson, I really like your show or did up to now. Please, African Americans like this guy dont speak for most. If you are going to have a panel guest that is supposed to be representing African Americans please make sure you get on thats in touch.

I could not beleive how Elder went off on AC last night. Wow does he has issues or what? Makes you stop and really think where does party (Rep)think they are going in the furture ?? Seems they are either angry or in denial. I don't hear a Republician ever take any kind of responsiblity for their parties troubles, Bush or Cheney!!! Oh well I use to be one NOW you know why I am not one any longer same ole same ole stuff. Happy New Year AC you cute thing you!!!

I am a moderate Republican, and honestly, I find the song childish and offensive, and it angers me that anyone would even remotely consider this acceptable. It's sour grapes because McCain/Palin lost. The party screwed up, it's politicians screwed up, and we as a party need to make things right. This isn't how we should be doing that. Garbage like this CD is an embarrassment to those of us who aren't racist jerks (am thinking something worse but you probably wouldn't publish it). I can't tell you the amount of racist garbage e-mails I received from conservatives during and after the election. And sadly, it has nothing to do with party politics and everything to do with flat out stupidity. You bet race is still an issue. We need serious conversations about it. Sadly, when African Americans like your panel guest don't get it and everyone else does, we have major problems that need to continue to be addressed. Maybe this guy should read his own book and self-reflect. And smart move on your parts for bringing it into the open as more than just a "blip" in the news.
