Who knew what - and when did they know it - regarding Gov. Blagojevich's alleged effort to sell President-elect Barack Obama's U.S. Senate seat? The release last week of an internal report by Obama's chief counsel offers a few more pieces to fill in that puzzle.

Here are key dates and events from that report.

Can't believe that Blagojevich isn't facing impeachment!

But..... of course the other criminal, Illinois Republican governor, Ryan, who is serving jail time is asking Bush for a pardon!

    What a joke!

When I read this I wonder just what kind of defense Blagojevich will present. The taped conversations are pretty convincing of wrong-doing. From the time-line it seems Obama's people had only a cursory contact with the Governor so hopefully this will drop from the national limelight since it does not show any criminal connection between the governor and the Obama staff.

Well the way that it sounds in the secret FBI recording Jackson Jr. and his cronies were the ones that brought up the "pay to play" to Blagojevich. So why isn't Jr. being looked at and arrested? Blago was stupid for going along with it but so was Jackson. They both need to be in prison!
