Overheard by our reporters, during a meeting at the Council on Foreign Relations today:

SECRETARY RICE: Nobody was trusting of the North Koreans. I mean, who trusts the North Koreans? You’d have to be an idiot to trust the North Koreans. (Laughter) That’s why we have a verification protocol that we are negotiating.

Oh, thank God and the sane citizens of this country that we will finally have some statespersons in the White House. As I told David Frum a long time ago, the I Ching says, "Name weapons, it thinks of evil."
This unconscious undiplomatic statement made by Condoleeza Rice is right up there with "axis of evil" and "Bring 'em on." Condoleeza, please try not to cause any more damage in your little time left. Then you can go play football, your real passion.

Sounds like an open mic moment to me. Not the most tactful thing to say and now that its been reported I wonder if the North Koreans will want an apology?

That's an easy one, Condi. The "Mexican Government" lets them cross the border with their surrogates to flood our country with"Counterfeit Dollars",and Heroine from Burma! Oh,and by the way, the Chinese seem to also trust them,as a "Supplemental Workforce", and it goes on and on,...Sorry to be a party pooper?
