Anderson, I think your show will win out anytime! I would be worried about competing against AC360 too!

That was by far the best shot of the day ever! My neighbor is oversees and we all get the same way when he comes home! and too much Bush and Streisand!

Goodnight Anderson, Erica and fellow bloggers! Have a great evening!

Anderson always ends the show with something sick. Streisand and Bush kissing. Yuk. Erica, get ahold of him.

Good night everyone and remember: Laughter is the best medicine. It's a good thing too because nobody has any money!
I'm not laughing all the way to the bank at least!

I say let the big 3 and their poor quality cars file bankruptcy. They can fix their own self induced financial problems. We can use the laid off employees, their skills/knowledge, and the bailout money as part of Obamas "green coller worker" plan. They can create the environmentaly friendly cars of tomorrow while the big 3 continue to build the cars of yesterday.

How tragic that in this day and age people are driven to eating questionable food in order to just survive. We are lucky to live in the US no matter how bad the economy is.

    December 8, 2008 at 10:52 pm |
  26. Ken in NC

Anderson, at the rate our economy is falling, those of us that know how to hunt will be in the woods hunting for food to feed ourselves and our families.

Kelly, the translation is that OJ wasn't able to play the race card and get off again. I was in the UK when I heard the last OJ verdict. I couldn't believe it when I heard that the jury let him off.

Erica, regarding Oprah & Sarah Palin: I believe that it was smart of Oprah to not have any of the candidates on her show but she DID endorse him in a very public way during the entire election. Since Oprah IS her show it does raise the questions: if Oprah wanted to be impartial why was she so public about supporting a candidate to begin with. There are not too many journalists who publicly endorse candidates. And I am not even a big Palin fan.
PS: Planet in Peril clips look riveting and informative.

I just heard Jeffery Toobin call O.J. a murderer, I thought a jury
found him not guilty. It is funny people believe every jury but that
one.I have yet to see an african americam give an opinion about
the O.J. case. Only White talking heads.
    Why is that?

  38. Jolene, St. Joseph, MI

Barbra Streisand and President Bush....just goes to show that we CAN be bi-partisan when we need to be. I wouldn't really call that a kiss either, it was more like a peck!

    December 8, 2008 at 10:47 pm |
  39. EJ (USA)

When you guys said that kiss between Streisand and Bush was awkward, I was expecting a longer kiss for some reason.

Celebrities and politicians always go around kissing everybody so much that it doesn't mean anything.

O.J. Simpson have new home prison in Las Vegas right now.

    December 8, 2008 at 10:44 pm |
  46. Rod

I have an idea, how about letting the automaker ceo's share the cell with O.J? They all are crying and none of them would know a good deal if it bit them in the butt!

    December 8, 2008 at 10:44 pm |
  47. Mike, Syracuse NY

David Gergen, I don't think people are getting behind a bailout. They may be just getting worn down, and feel that their representation in Congress isn't listening.

    December 8, 2008 at 10:44 pm |
  48. Brandi - bottom of the boot

OJ beat the murder charges so he just knew he would beat this too.
    Definitely arrogant.

    December 8, 2008 at 10:43 pm |
  49. Bea

I think the state used this to get back at Oj. Stupid. I hope it gets reversed on appeal. So many other places where that money needs to be spent. Let it rest.

    December 8, 2008 at 10:42 pm |
  50. kelly

I keep hearing people saying O.J. will have cause for appeal because there were no black people on the jury. That is rediculous. If that is the case, then if I do something wrong, my case can only be heard by angry, middle-aged white women, or I have a case for appeal.
