If you're wondering why your comment didn't make the cut. It may be because you didn't follow the rules.  Sure, we know the old saying, "Rules are made to be broken."  But, keep in my mind, we're the cops. So, it make sense to play by our rules.

Here are some of them:

1) Don't write in ALL CAPS (we don't like screaming)
2) Stay on topic.
4) No curse words

Credit on the part of the consumer is what got america into this problom. How can makeing it so people can get further in debt help get us out of this problom so freeing up lending for uncredit worthy people and companys cant fix it. as for all this money this country has why not pay the bills for 4 to 6 months to run this country and suspend income taxes that will give the people working and that want to get a handle on there debt there for giving those people a chance to spend more in the months following. as for the other people and bussness that just what handouts tell them those that help them selfs get help.

From Heroes to cat's on rhumba's – it would be nice to send that poor lady in africa, that hero, and her kids, a cat on a rumbah. CNN could make it happen.

Anderson's mention of Angela from the Democratic Republic of Congo is one of many heroes over there. The amount of women and children getting raped and abused over there is horrendous and I'm glad more of them are speaking out now.

I do think that this girl does have to answer for her actions. Kids need to be taught that there are consequences for their actions. Too many kids think that they can just say whatever they want whenever they want to whomever they want and just get away with it...especially online because they don't have to say things face to face.

    Randi,

I'm thankful for a loving family, friends, a roof over my head and food on the table. Can we really ask for anything more?

David Gergan rocks as usual. Glad to see Jeff Toobin on 360 lately - was afraid he was off healing his wounds over the Red Sox. As a life long Cubs fan I can relate.

And I heard a commentary after Obama's press conference today where they were questioning why he wasn't giving the specifics of areas of the budget he would cut. The commentator made a good point that to do so at this time would be tipping his hand to all the lobbyists who would descend on Washington to support their cause. I agree that we need to back off a little on Obama - let him formulate his plans.

Happy Thanksgiving to all - and I'm making the pumpkin pie!

The case that turned into a MySpace case has nothing to do with MySpace or computers. The lawyers need to separate the tool from the act. Think if this would have happened 20 years ago and the "medium" was the telephone. We wouldn't be calling this a violation of the phone company's Terms of Service. If this was done through the mail, would they approach it as illegal use of the USPS? Certainly not. This is another case of "guns don't kill people, people kill people"- and whether gun or keyboard, the result here was the same. That's how it should be prosecuted.

    David Gergen,

I'm sort of confused about one thing. For years we've heard the economic experts talk about how bad it was that Americans were using credit so heavily. A LOT of people have been financing their lifestyles with credit cards and their home equity.

Now people aren't spending on credit and if they still have homes, have shut down their credit lines either voluntarily or by the banks. The economy is shrinking without all this spending. Now they want us to start funding that level of spending again? I'm not sure that's wise.

    So yeah, I'm confused.

    Thanks for all your insight!

Megan was a child. An adult who would manipulate a child in that manner needs to be prosecuted. It was cruel . Simply not reading the terms of agreement with My Space is one bogus excuse.
    Colleen....
