Here's my advice: Grab some of your kids Halloween candy (don't worry I won't tell them) and snack on it as you watch AC360° tonight. The sugar-high may help as you face the final days of the battle for the White House.
There are some new developments on the trail tonight.
Team Obama has kicked off an advertising offensive in these states:
– North Dakota (which last voted for a democratic president way back in 1964)
– Arizona (Gasp! John McCain's home state)
Obama campaigned in Iowa today where he won the first democratic caucus back in January.
"John McCain says we can't spend the next four years waiting for our luck to change, and he's right about that, but all of you understand that the biggest gamble we can take is embracing the same old bush/mccain policies that have not work and expect a different result. We've got to do something different," Obama said.
Meanwhile, John McCain is using star power on the trail. Today California's GOP Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was on the stump with McCain in Ohio.
The former bodybuilder had some pointers for Sen. Obama.
"He needs to do something about those skinny legs. We are going to going to make him do some squats," Schwarzenegger said. "But as if we could only do about getting some meat on the ideas. John McCain on the other hand, he is built like a rock," he added.
Schwarzenegger quickly got the crowd fired up, with this line:
"John McCain has served this country longer in a P.OW. camp than the opponent has served in the United States Senate. Ladies and gentlemen, ladies and gentlemen, I only play an action heroes in my movie, but John McCain is a real action hero."
We'll have the raw politics and more tonight on AC360°, starting at 10pm ET.
Anderson Cooper goes beyond the headlines to tell stories from many points of view, so you can make up your own mind about the news. Tune in weeknights at 8 and 10 ET on CNN.
