We are big fans of the live blog. Anderson, Erica and the entire staff of AC360° enjoy reading your comments. We respect your opinions and love the feedback. After all, without you the viewer, and you the reader, we are working all these hours for nothing.

Every night we get hundreds of comments. Many get posted, many others do not because of space and time limitations. NEWS FLASH: there are other reasons. People are breaking the rules. Here's a quick recap of the guidelines:

1. Use your real name.
2. Stay on topic.
3. We like criticism. But keep it intelligent and thoughtful, perhaps even constructive.
4. Don't write in ALL CAPS.

Yes, I know you can obey the rules and still not get posted. Refer back to "space and time limitations." Please keep trying – like I said we really do value your input.

On the program tonight: with only a week of campaigning left, Barack Obama is trying to close the deal, and John McCain is trying to stop him. The battlefield, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Two campaigns on the same turf but in very different circumstances. We'll have reports from the field and talk over today's developments with the Best Political Team in Television.

Don’t forget to watch Erica Hill’s webcast during the commercials.  LINK TO WEBCAST

And take a look at Anderson and Erica on our live web camera from the 360° studio. We’ll turn the camera on at 945p ET and turn it off at 11p ET. LINK TO THE BLOG CAMERA

We’ll start posting comments at 10p ET and stop at 11p ET.

Ward robe costing over 150K is a lot of money, Elizabeth. It is not sexist .... it just realistic to criticize such bone head decision.

How will you understand .... 150K is peanuts to you in relation to you and your husband's income.

I wish Palin would have used the ostentatious amount of money for her wardrobe on a pair of "non-mom" jeans. Perhaps not the item to purchase at a consignment shop 🙂

When McCain talks about redistribution of wealth I wish someone would point out that is exactly what we’ve had for the last eight years: A redistribution of wealth from those who can least afford it to those who least need it.

Bottom line on the clothing issue – she's supposed to be a Wal-Mart Mom and she's wearing $2,500 jackets? If she was truly a Wal-Mart Mom she would've said "NO!" to the expensive clothes. And why did the GOP buy clothes for her husband? What does he have to do with this campaign? Don't they have any nice clothes in their everyday wardrobes?

At this point, Palin is trying to save her name. She still has to be Govenor of a state when she loses. I do believe she will run in 2012, but will make a point know the issues then.

All these so-called "sources" making these behind the scenes comments about Palin being rogue.....do they have names? If they can't make statements using their name then is it really news?

It's ironic how McCain keeps stating that Obama is taking his lead for granted, when in fact he isn't. It's the kind of ignorance that makes you wonder if either side ever pays attention to the other.
As for McCain's anti-redistribution stance, aren't taxes basically taking our money and using it for other people? Funny how McCain can't see that Obama's plan is simply an extension of that policy that our government runs on.

No kids of my own – so I am dressing my niece as early Madonna and my nephew as CeCe Deville (from Poison).

    Hello,

I have been trying to get through and get some thins our that I feel this campaign trail for both parties.

I am so tired of hearing "Spread the Wealth" phrase. I am so tired of hearing about "Joe the Plummer". There are a few things that people should know or pay attention to.

    1. Spread the Wealth. If people would pay attention to what has happened in the past 8 years. The middle class has become almost extinct. I feel the taxes for middle class should be cut because guess what? They are the ones who replenishes the economy. Middle class people uses their credit cards, they go out to the stores and spend on things, and they are the ones who help create jobs with the actions they have. Come on people, the middle class have almost been completely wiped out. In order to bring back a class to assist with the economy taxes have to be cut or raised what difference does it make?

    2. Joe the Plummer: Joe the plummer is slow if he doesn't realize his company would get a tax break because most small business owners do not make an average of 250,000.00 after their overhead. Not to mention, why wouldn't the small business owner want to give his employees healthcare and insurance for their families. Aren't they the one's who is keeping the money in Joe's pocket? Why wouldn't Joe want to help them out?

I think we as a people must come together and make this world right. We have struggled enough and deceived to. It's time for us to speak and go out and vote for the best person based on what we feel. They are gonna tell us anything to get us to vote for them. Go with what you feel. I will tell you this though. You'd be a fool to think taxes won't get raised to help clear up this defeceit we are in.
