We are big fans of the live blog. Anderson, Erica and the entire staff of AC360° enjoy reading your comments. We respect your opinions and love the feedback. After all, without you the viewer, and you the reader, we are working all these hours for nothing.

Every night we get hundreds of comments. Many get posted, many others do not because of space and time limitations. NEWS FLASH: there are other reasons. People are breaking the rules. Here's a quick recap of the guidelines:

1. Use your real name.
2. Stay on topic.
3. We like criticism. But keep it intelligent and thoughtful, perhaps even constructive.
4. Don't write in ALL CAPS.

Yes, I know you can obey the rules and still not get posted. Refer back to "space and time limitations." Please keep trying – like I said we really do value your input.

On the program tonight: with only a week of campaigning left, Barack Obama is trying to close the deal, and John McCain is trying to stop him. The battlefield, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Two campaigns on the same turf but in very different circumstances. We'll have reports from the field and talk over today's developments with the Best Political Team in Television.

Don’t forget to watch Erica Hill’s webcast during the commercials.  LINK TO WEBCAST

And take a look at Anderson and Erica on our live web camera from the 360° studio. We’ll turn the camera on at 945p ET and turn it off at 11p ET. LINK TO THE BLOG CAMERA

We’ll start posting comments at 10p ET and stop at 11p ET.

Have to run, but on a serious note....if you conspire to harm the president I assume that is treason. What are you charged with if you conspire to hurt a presidential nominee?

So, Michelle Obama can discuss her wardrobe on Jay Leno, but Palin can't dedicate one minute out of a long speech to crack a joke about it.
    That's pretty one-sided, don't you think?

Why all the fuss about how much more money Obama has to spend, the Republicans do it all the time, not this year though. This is what Bush did to Kerry...and what Bush did to McCain in the primary where he trashed his own! And outspent...boy the Republicans like to live the double standards...NOW they are worried aobut a one sided congress...and a rubber stamp...where were they for the first six years of Bush's term?

The Thriller event is a hoot. It's this sort of thing that really is soooo American. Crazy, silly, fun, and a way to forget our troubles for a little while. Ya gotta love it.

I am with Joe Biden with that journalist asking him that question, quoting a Marks statement.

    Is she for real

Half the people don't even know what markism is, they just be repeating what the McCain campaign say.

I love Michelle Obama and her down to earth manners. She speaks like the neighbor lady next door and shares the funny antics of her kids. Who couldn't love a lady like that?

didn’t realize this blog was about your Halloween costumes. I thought it would be about some “issues” other than more “dress-up” talk. guess I’ll look elsewhere.

Hey – you can blame Anderson for that.

The "Spread the Wealth" and "Socialist" issue is no more than a fear tactic encouraged by a Presidential campaign party who needs to be reminded that the majority of Americans are no longer wishing to play this type of game.

  28. Glen Up North

Betty Ann: LOL! As hilarious as that would be, I'd be afraid McCain would be using it in his campaigning to try to detract people from voting for Obama. (Drum roll.)

I watched your show tonight because I was interested in the news of Jennifer Hudson's family. I was upset when finally at 10:49 you had the information and it was done by 10:53. I realize this Presidental Election is a Historical Time but, don't you think that a women that has lost three of her family members deserves more then 5 minutes, and it could of maybe come at the beginning of the show? After all, the election has been going on for how many months.

I have so much respect for David Gergen. I continue to learn from him every time he is on your program. You talk about fair and balance....this guy actually gets it. And he says it even if it's not popular, but it's always the truth. I am an african american woman and I want to thank you Mr. Gergen. You've said things on CNN that most of us scream at the television, but can't get anyone to hear. Please don't go away after the election regardless of who wins. Your experience and wisdom will always be needed on CNN (but mostly Fox) You are truly unbelievable. And we can't get enough of you.
