Yes, we are a divided Nation. For the last 8 years of Republican rule:

Our patriotism has been questioned IF we dared to oppose the war in Iraq.

We have been called anti-American by the Republicans for supporting Sen. Obama.

If you don't have a "support the troops" sticker on your car, you get ugly looks.

We DO support our Troops......we want them home safely!

We DO LOVE OUR COUNTRY, that' why we REJECT the politics of lies-hate-fear-and-division that the Republicans spew!

We're not divided, we're just beaten down by bad news and we want to blame someone. Some of us are blaming one side, some the other side. Look at football for an analogy. When your team is winning, the coach is a hero and the players are stars. When your team is losing, it's time to fire the coach and the whiny players. In politics, when we as a nation are winning, the President is a hero and the incumbents in Congress waltz to reelection. Right now, our nation feels like the Detroit Lions not the NY Giants.
