11 days out, and the whispering begins

Call it a circular firing squad, or internal dissension, or simply the natural evolution of a campaign that is disappointed with how the endgame is playing out.
There's a faction within the McCain campaign has begun to whisper about Gov. Sarah Palin to reporters. The faction includes staff members and advisers who consult with staff members. It does not seem to include any members of the senior staff, although the definition of the senior staff here is a bit elastic.
This faction has come to believe that Palin, perhaps unwittingly subconsciously or otherwise, has begun to play Sen. McCain off of the base, consistently and deliberately departed from the campaign's message of the day in ways that damage McCain.

When someone is very sick and they are on life support, the doctor often times asks the family if it is time to "pull the plug." In this election it is time for McCain to "pull the plug" and for our nation to look forward to an Obama presidency and for Pailin to think about her own political future. The Republicans would do go to let that quietly happen.

The campaign belongs to and is run by the candidate - John McCain IS the problem.
I already voted for Obama, but it's not Palin's fault this campaign is in the toilet. It is McCain's.
John McCain lost me as an Independent voter when he decided to not be himself. Period.....end of story. He pandered and listened to his base when he has never listened to them before. He got in bed with the very people that sent him down the river in 2000. After his nomination, he should of disowned Bush and been the maverick. His base would of understood and been in on the great illusion. He then, would of been the McCain of the 80's and 90's.....the man we all know. That man is no more...................
So much for McCain's judgement. He's been "tested" by a dummy from Alaska, and flunked the test.
We're supposed to trust him to take us out of this economic mess – or in the event of a security crisis?
The fact is, John McCain is too old for this job, anyone can see it.
You get what you pay for the well dressed moose killer has the memory span of a gnat with a brain size to match.
