Why isn't CNN investigating Obama's ties with radicals and how this ties to Acorn? CNN is suppose to report news, not give their personal opinion of their candidate. I bet CNN has lost a lot of ratings because of their one-sided news coverage. If CNN is going to report every little thing on Palin, why aren't they asking questions about Obama and his connection to Acorn?

That doesn't sound Right to me
So there is no freedom of press you telling me, don't give me that bull about volume you have to check with your party first if it was this simple
they would not be working tomorrow and nether would you because then the press have nothing else to do misleading all the people with a press
that is owned by the republicans

explain this one for me It's sounds vert simple why not give each american ,
1 million dollars each let them pay off there loan (house) credit card bills It will still be billions
left for your bailout . Then the banks would get there money back they don't need No sweeteners and the consumer automatically starts spending so it would help everybody and if a person blow there money away then they have no excuse they get no more help there is about 500 million people living in this country and with the bailout getting even worse Right now they said on CNN so what is 500 milj out of 8 billion witch they say soon going to me trillions So far that makes most sense to me fast solution and the economy would start picking up Right away The big industries can get to borrow from the rest or if needed but no bailout for the banks they can pay for a change the are a big blame why we are here Right now a 5 years old could have done a better all the people at the top you would think they have a brain but it's a joke money money and more money when do a person have enough. Even if it does not work 100% but al least it's a much better idea then they have come up with and it would help the country going Right away spending etc. remember stock market are depending on 2/3 of what we consume so that as well should pick up right away.

Why isn't anyone reporting and scrutinizing Palin and her husband's registration AND continued association with Alaska's Secessionist Party? They are a Separatist Fringe Political Active Group who want to Alaskans to vote to secede from the United States. If that's not a radical, anti-American hate group, then I don't know what is!! Palin spoke to them recently (last year) via satellite. You can fact check this. This requires the same time and scrutiny as this Ayers story. The fact that a VP candidate has this in her personal political activity past screams out for a vote against her.

I have campaigned for Senator Obama for months now, but if John McCain had voted no for the bailout, he would have had my vote. I am so disappointed by the willingness of Congress to tell us where to go that I may not vote at all now. However, Congress has never given a rat's behind what the American public thought, so why am I so surprised?

II was outraged by attempts by the McCain campaign to smear Senator Obama with accusations that he "pals around with terrorists", so I thought you might report this detail from John McCain's past.

In the late 1970's I met John McCain while he worked for the Navy Office of Congressional Liaison at the Pentagon.

This office was headed by Admiral George Kinnear and included the former Enron Chariman, Ken Lay.

McCain and Lay worked closely together to influence Congressional votes, and both men gained invaluable contacts for their later careers - McCain for his political career and Ken Lay for his infamous business.

Thought you'd like to know. If the McCain campaign wants to start smearing people he should beware his own past, includng his association with Charles Keating.

I am sickened anderson, when I heard wall street needs bailed out,I thought sure lets bail them out {not}! What about us working class people? I wish someone would give me 700 billion! I think the goverment should give americans part of that 700 billion and we would bail ourselfs out of our own messes that wall street created.Americans are in a mess and no one cares as long as we bail out wall street. The government should give are taxs dollar back too us and let us decide what we want to spend it on. The government should tell banks and mortage companies they have too help anyone who ownes a home get a better interest rate regardless of there credit ,most people may at one time had good credit when they bought a home but not now make them stop foreclosen and keep people in there homes loss of jobs and economy payin more at the pump maybe that might be why americans are at the bottom of the food chain.Do they think were stupid as americans? Make the people who got wall street were it is today pay not us payers. You can not tell me the government didnt see this coming.I blame them too.

I also believe that Hillary was the one to make the difference! I think all candidates to qualify for President and Vice President of the United States, should be given x amount of dollars for one month and walk in the shoes of the very elderly, trying to buy medicine, eat proper food, buy gas for a car, National Grid bills etc . on the Social Security and the pensions that have not kept up with inflation. Once they have done this little deed I think the candidate could really stand up and really know what he or she was talking about.

I happen to know both Senator Obama and Senator Biden cares about me!

They have said so in their campaigns, during the debates and in interviews!

I can barely afford to eat with the increased fuel, food and addition costs brought on from the fuel costs!

McCain is just more of the same! He will not help us! I am going to lose my health insurance if he makes it into office! Then as I need it most, I will be one of those left without any insurance!

McCain needs to talk issues not lies!

Palin needs to make good on her promise to allow the Alaska investigation to complete!

Sarah Palin twice accused a US Senator of treason! I hope you realize Treason during wartime is punishable by death!

Someone had better get this straight! This is a very serious charge to be placing on a Senator, not to mention a Senator running for President!

I hold Senator John McCain responsible for this and call on Senator Harry Reid to handle this matter!

These lies and attacks have to stop!

I certainly hope CNN does not further these lies, You had investigated this and dismissed it as not factual when the McCain campaign first used it!

McCain needs to state his policies and start running an honorable campaign!

Sarah Palin has to do as she promised, allow the Alaska investigation to complete!

The reporting of the VP debate left out critial information, This report is biased towards McCains campaign! The report reported word for word what Palin said and left out the words which Senator Biden responded with, this leaving an impression of Palins words being true!

McCain did say he would not sit down and talk with the president of Spain, look back at the first debate!

Sarah Palin needs to keep to her promise and allow the Alaska investigation to continue!

What does she have to hide?

McCain needs to start telling us the issues and leave the nasty attacks out of it!

In all honesty don't you think people like me should to go to the next life and let the strong young people have a life without the old ?loading them down. Unless there are great break throughts, life does goes past positive returns. As I near that point, I will give up my soul to God to take at his time

Why don't you be a real trooper and do a "keeping them honest" on the true breakdown of this "bailout"? You know, or don't you?? It is real simple to explain and should be a "lesson learned" for all Americans. 1. The crumble of our banks came from the housing market
    2. The housing market was gave a free pass to people WHO SHOULD HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO GET A LOAN.
    3. The housing market got this ok from Carter and then Clinton and supported and pushed hard for by OBAMA. (Paraphrase )"it is a good idea to allow people who could not previously afford a home"....buy a home.
    4. Well there needed to be a lending vehicle for this idea and that where Freddie and Fannie come in.
    5. Then it was alarmed by the current head of treasury at the time in 2004 I believe (fact check this please for the proper date) that there was a major problem within the housing industry driven by Freddie and Fannie, and passionately supported by Frank and Schumer. Then it was alarmed again Anderson and they tried to pass a bill for regulations and oversight of Freddie and Fannie and I believe Frank said (Paraphrase) “if we put pressure on them then they will be less willing to loan”. And then it was turned down, all the Democrats voted against regulation and all the republicans voted for it.
My question to you Anderson is one based on ethics, will you be an ethical journalist and report the whole truth and nothing but the truth for the American people??
I ask of you to keep the withering flame of “no bull” alive. What has happened to CNN Anderson? I’m a Democrat, but gee whiz it’s disgusting to see witness such bias behavior from all of you. You are supposed to report to the American people, not try and manipulate them.

Sarah was picked for one reason: The old man on the ticket is desperate and he wants to be President by all means. Sorry McCain! You can't fix these Economic mess. We will call you if there is another War in Iraq. Issue # 1 is the Economy and you have no clue how to fix it. You out of Michigan! What next, PA, FL. Attacking Obama will not help. Run a decent Campaign, you might get the Secretray of Defense job in Obama/Biden administration. Safe your name and stop the personal attack.

I moved from Venezuela 9 years ago looking for a better place to race my two young boys; I always admired Americans because their honesty running their Country and their capability of overcoming tough situations. I feel proud to be a US citizen and to be able to participate in this election but I am very concern about the future, my two teenagers boys will go to College within the three next years and I really don't know how we'll do that...I just know that listening to Ms Paiin during the debate mentioning about 5 thousand dollars credit for each family to purchase health insurance scared me to dead...just last year I had my employer withdrawn $850 each month from my pay check for a HMO and POS Dental for a family of four...I believe Ms Palin and Mr. McCain have not idea of the media class family needs.
    Thanks,

I was saddened to hear that nobody was willing to take the blame for the economic crisis. Well, I am ready to step up to the plate and take the blame. My husband and I still live in our "starter" home we purchased in 1974. I bicycle commute to work every day. With the exception of my recent purchase of 2 Obama t-shirts, I buy most of my clothes from the second hand store. We purchase a car only once every 10 years or so. We shamefully deposited our income tax rebate in our savings account, instead of spending it. It is not like I didn't realize I was doing this to our country. I have been telling my husband for years that if very many Americans lived the way we do, the economy would tank! And so it has! And, I apologize!

I think very few women are enthralled with Sarah Palin. Women have to work to be taken seriously in this world and a winking, uniformed person trying to avoid all substance does not help. I am also concerned that the Republicans are not letting this investigation in Alaska happen. We need to know if she broke the law. Why has this dropped off the radar on the news? This may be obstruction of justice.

Change has already begun, regardless of what a particular candidate promises.

The American way of life, debt-driven and leveraged past the point of sanity, will change. Both the "innocent" - those who thought they were playing by the rules - and the "guilty," will be swept along. It's easy to blame what's happening on fat cats and the usual suspects, but that's intellectually lazy and (largely) factually incorrect, and accomplishes very little.

Gail wants the US to "regain its leadership and respect around the world." Why? Does the US deserve it? I don’t think so. A multipolar world is taking shape, and I'm glad. Will it bring chaos? Certainly. Suffering? Certainly. What kind of world will emerge? I don’t know, but I doubt it will satisfy the utopian dreams of many a poster on these boards. One’s ability to deal with reality will be key to one’s ability to survive, that’s for sure.

Seems to me if they had 750B to give away they could divide it among all "legal" U.S. citizens and send us a check! Seems to me that would stimulate the economy. I bet some people would even pay off their mortgages!

Believe me not all women are enthralled with Sara Palin. Hillary was our heroine and still is. Sara does not hold a candle to Hillary. Why does she get makeovers when she does not know something and then everyone believes. Anderson you and your panel are almost in awe of this woman. Why? I do not understand it.

We all know the promises being made by both Presidential candidates are totally unrealistic when considering the amount of money available. Both, especially Obama excell at telling us "what" they are going to do if elected. What I would really like is to hear the plans for the "how" first considering no financial constraints then with full consideration given to financial reality.

I watched to the V.P. Debate last night and I watched the P. Debate last week. I have never seen such a disgrace of the American political system in my life. I am tired of the press and the political people catering to the top 3% of the people in America. If these people running are real then why don’t they take some questions from people on the street. I don’t think they would be able to stomach the truth. None of the press are the political people care about (those people) ie.. “People that are less than they are” Be a real man are woman and hold an open debate in front of Wal-Mart where the real American people have to go and because of their income. Of course that will never happen, because they might find out what is really going taking place in America. None of these people on your show have any idea how it is to wake up and not know where your next meal is going to come from. Why don’t you have some real people on your show? I have a daughter( Like millions of others with the same story) that is a single mom of two boys, working, going to school full time trying to better herself, and tomorrow joining the National Guard to support America, and myself and other people have to help her buy gas every week. I would like to see someone in the press are the political people address that. They want because that is real America, and they don’t want to deal with it. It is more important to talk about baling-out a bunch of thugs that have already ran America in the ground.

Now if this doesn't work. Then what? I want to know what this bill is really about. The only thing I am hearing is about pet projects. ACORN, Energy and other idiotic things. I thought we were bailing out banks and saving the country. I didn't want this bill to pass and I was so glad when it didn't. I think this will be a disaster. Just like I knew the stimulus package wouldn't work. I'm poor and I live basically in poverty. Why am I paying for this. I wish I could move to imagination land.

I voted for Georges Bush twice and I realize that was a big mistake. I am paying the price now, that was a big mistake...I will vote for Obama and Biden because they are more capable and best qualified to unite the american people and help USA to regain it leadership and respect around the world
John Macain is nothing but a copy of Bush and will do the same..I was and I am still upset about him picking Sara Palin as VP...That's a Joke...
We are tired of C average students being president and VP.. Bush, Macain and Palin are all the same..
We need change....Macain is not change
