Much to my Dad’s chagrin, I have been to Fenway more than a few times, but I never made it to Yankee Stadium. When we moved to NY this year, it seemed like we would have a tough time not making it to the House that Ruth Built before the final game was played. I couldn’t have been more wrong! But so many of you *did* make it to the original Yankee Stadium this season and last night; I’m living that experience through your iReports. They are fantastic! Thank you all for sharing them with us.
I loved some of the color in the paper this morning – the extra 1,600 security guards brought in for yesterday’s game, the memo sent to players reminding them they, too, were forbidden from taking a souvenir. Just like the 54,000-plus fans in attendance on Sunday – and the countless others cheering on the Yankees elsewhere – they’ll have to pay for any memento they’d like.

Healing, huh? Apparently, that’s what Stonehenge was for, according to two British scientists. They liken it to Lourdes, the French town which draws the Catholic faithful from around the globe. How do they all of a sudden know pilgrims came here thousands of years ago for healing, when the rock formation has puzzled people for centuries? Credit the blue rocks.

And a quick programming note: a few of our regular bloggers have noticed me moonlighting on the Saturday edition of The Early Show on CBS. I’m very happy to report I am now the co-anchor of that broadcast.
I’m not going anywhere, though, so for those of you who are sick of me – too bad! My CBS duties are in addition to those at CNN, so I will still be with you weeknights right here on AC360.

Anderson Cooper goes beyond the headlines to tell stories from many points of view, so you can make up your own mind about the news. Tune in weeknights at 8 and 10 ET on CNN.

Erica what talent you have! You can roll your eyes 360 degrees. Everyone else on cnn keeps their eyes more level including the normally funny people like Cooper.
Erica: If the last game has been played in the House That Ruth Built, why are they waiting 20 months to tear it down? I am doubting it would be indeed that last game game played if NY has a harsh winter.
Hi Erica
First, congrats on the weekend co anchor job. Now, to get down to business. How much longer do we have to hear about Sarah Palin? Haven't we already got the picture and realize she isn't VP material? I like to classify her as nothing more than a drawing card to get John McCain larger crowds to try to sell his flip flop campaign too. Think about it...befor Palin, McCain couldn't fill a small room, with Palin, he's filling large venues. Hopefully, Palin will soon wake up and realize what her true role is and she will face the facts.
Congrats Erica! CBS is so lucky to have your smile close to the eye.
As usual your posts are full of electrical wise , giving us wings for the real and original view of the facts .
Hi Erica,
Congrats on the Weekend co anchor job. As they say, Life comes at you fast. Take all that it gives you.
No souvenirs from Yankee Stadium? At least memories are a memento that no one can restrict. Take Care

Erica, I'm happy to hear that you will be permanently co-anchoring the Saturday Early Show and continuing your role on AC360. You have done an excellent job of establishing yourself there and you have a great rapport with Chris Wragge and the rest of the gang. I've made a point to watch the show each Saturday since you started–there's always some useful piece of information or tip that I get out of the program and the musical performances have been first rate–congrats.
Kudos to you Erica! Now more folks will see your wit and humour! I'm glad you are sticking around AC360 though! Love the banter between you and Mr. Cooper! Congrats again!
Congrats Erica on your post at CBS. I have been watching the show for a long time and you are a great addition! I have been to Fenway and 2 of 3 Phil. parks, but never Yankee Stadium. People are upset in Chicago because the team is for sale and people are threatening to change the name of Wrigley Field. I guess not everyone is ready for change! I would love to see Stonehendge. It is on my list of places to go. I hope we are able to work on this economy so we can all get back to our hopes and dreams. Glad you are staying on 360.
Congratulations Erica!!! Very relieved and happy to hear you'll still be on 360 too! You're a great reporter and you and Anderson work so well together.
Swing batter, batter swing ! Why did New York build a new statium and what happens to the old stadium ?
What's is the GOVERNMENT going to do for the small business owner that needs to refinance SBA loans. My firm has an SBA loan and our property has equity beyound our level of indebtness. Yet we can not find a bank that will refinance and the SBA can not or will not provide assistance for the every day small business person.
Congratulations on your co-anchor position at CBS' The Early Show ! 🙂
Congratulations Erica! Well deserved, but glad you'll be staying on with AC 360 too!
Best Wishes.
Hi Erica,
I saw you on CBS on Saturday and you did a great job. You are a real asset to the show. Congratulations on it and I am glad you are staying on 360.
Erica,
When do you sleep?? You've got a great work ethic,
Good for you!
Congratulations Erica! I am trilled your contract came through with CBS. I have always appreciated your work.
I would have loved to be at Yankee stadium this weekend but instead I was at the Rays game on Saturday! We are headed to the Playoffs!
If you haven't been Erica next time you come to Florida bring your little guy to Tropicana Field, an indoor MLB field, in the heart of St. Petersburg, FL with air conditioning. I know it is kind of like indoor football in NOLA. It's not that bad once you get use to it!
If you ever land at TIA during baseball season watch for the orange glow over the dome. They light up bright orange when the Rays win.
A games are always fun! We celebrated a 3rd birthday with friends at the Stadium sky box. It is so fun to see the little kids light up with excitement! Your little guy would love it!
Congratulations again on your success! You deserve to be back in the limelight!
Hi Erica, Good luck at the co-anchor position there at CBS. I'll have to make it a point to watch on Saturday knowing you're there now too. Congratulations. I hope you won't be leaving AC360, I really enjoy your presence there as well. Hey, don't work too hard. Have a great day, see you later.
Two gigs- congrats & good for you! If you still need suggestions for naming the new 360 segment, here's a few:
The 360 Scoop, with Erica or "What's Doing?" hosted by Erica.
Take care.
Congratulations Erica! Good for you!
Hi Erica, congratulations on your co-anchor position at CBS! I'm excited for you! I'm glad you're still at AC360, though. I enjoy your interaction with Anderson. If you ever leave 360, I will be very, very sad (and so will Anderson, I'm sure).
See you tonight!

Erica, congratulations on your new gig with CBS. I enjoy seeing you on there saturday monrings. Congratulations!!!
Hey Erica,
As a CNN International viewer I'm very happy that you are still gonna be doing AC360, because I can't watch CBS!
I have heard from my US friends that you do a very good job at The Early Show, but that's no surprise to me :).
See you tonight (and many nights to follow!) Kristien
