Live Blog from the Anchor Desk 8/15/08

Tonight, we have a special hour looking at one of the toughest decisions the candidates will make.  Who will share the ticket with Sen. McCain and Sen. Obama?  We'll look at the top three candidates for VP on both sides.

We want to know what you think so we’ll start posting comments to this blog at 10p ET and stop at 11p ET.

My moneys on General Wes Clark for Obama. Clinton, Kaine, Bayh, Richardson, BIden, and Dodd all have slots at the DNCC. Sam Nunn, Kathleen Sebelius aren't out of the question. Chuck Hagel is still possible.

Mccain I haven t followed as much.

A VP choice other than Hilary could help deflect the criticism from upset Hilary voters IF Hilary was fully-supportive of the candidate, and pushed her supporters in that direction. This could be the Hilary solution which might put bitterness to bed.

I am afraid that Barack's pride is might get in the way of him making a choice that could just about assure him the win. There are some republican women that want to vote for Hillary. It is a vote for their daughters and grandaughters. If she is not on the ticket they will vote McCain. He may think he can win with out her. He might be wrong.
