Anderson, I hope Mark David Chapman never gets out of prison. He took away the greatest Beatle John Lennon! Chapman should stay there forever!!

I am certain there will be more endorsements for Barack Obama in the coming months! Not only Oprah!

    August 12, 2008 at 10:51 pm |
  10. Mike, Syracuse, NY

Wow, one million people who let Oprah take over their brain. Very disturbing.

I never liked BK. And now it's even worse than I thought.

  12. Suzanne

i'm no genius, but i don't need a consultant to tell me that Oprah's endorsement landed him a few votes.

    August 12, 2008 at 10:51 pm |
  13. Claire

I'm sorry I don't believe that Oprah is responsible for Obama getting 1 million votes! I hope people aren't so crazy as to listen to a celeb to see who to vote for. Oprah is so over hyped.

  14. janet

If Oprah says something, I do believe a large percentage of her viewers will do what she says

    August 12, 2008 at 10:50 pm |
  15. Mary

The chupacabra that I heard of is a little more frightning than that. I don't think it would be running away either

    August 12, 2008 at 10:49 pm |
  16. Cindy

I do not like Oprah at all!! If people vote for someone because of a celeb endorsement rather than the issues then they shouldn't be voting!!

    Cindy...Ga.

Oprah has always been a force. I think she has a great deal of clout. People trust her.

    August 12, 2008 at 10:49 pm |
  18. Fay, CA

While I do admire Oprah Winfrey, her endorsement of Obama didn't really have any influence on me whatsoever.

    August 12, 2008 at 10:49 pm |
  19. CaseyJ - Palm Springs, CA

I think Obama should send Oprah on the road to start stumping on a bigger scale.

haven't people learned yet you don't tape yourself doing stupid things....

OK, that dude bathing in the sink at Burger King is disgusting. 🙁
    No more Whoppers for me.

I can't believe the cops and everyone else is falling for the lies of Casey. She needs to be charged with murder. I bet she will think again then and tell where that precious little Caley may be.

    August 12, 2008 at 10:47 pm |
  25. Jolene

I lived across from a Burger King in college, called it the "BK Lounge" so I've grown sick of their food over the years, that video of the dude taking a bath has got to be it for me now.

    August 12, 2008 at 10:47 pm |
  26. Sharon

The police need to give both the grandparents and Casey a lie dectector test, plain and simple to find out some truth about Caylee disappearance, if not all. This is going on to long. Why are the handling them with kids gloves?

    August 12, 2008 at 10:47 pm |
  27. Saera El Paso, TX

casey seems obviously unstable, so, if they want to get information out of her they need to work at it from a psychological point if view. i think that would mean humoring her about the no-recording thing. to find a kid i think that's not much to pay.

    August 12, 2008 at 10:47 pm |
  28. Heather

Exactly,if you have nothing to hide why would you care.I agree completely.

    August 12, 2008 at 10:47 pm |
  29. Gloren (Florida)

Why haven't they polygraphed this girl about the possibility of doing harm to her child and/or her child having drowned or having died accidentally? One would think these procedures would have been carried out but there is such a thick cloud of confusion covering this entire case...the grandfather now claims the girl was kidnapped and that some people are being watched because of that...it's just crazy!

    August 12, 2008 at 10:46 pm |
  30. Ken in NC

Well I guess that means you can't have it your way at Burger King. No more Burger King for me. LOL

    August 12, 2008 at 10:46 pm |
  31. Lisa

If she is trying to protect her daughter then why did she tell all these lies? She could have just said that she can't talk because it will endanger her child. She really didn't need to lead the police on a wild goose chase.

    August 12, 2008 at 10:46 pm |
  32. Mary H. St. Louis, MO

No more whopper juniors for me... Yuck.... that is just too gross...

    August 12, 2008 at 10:46 pm |

  35. Uma in Liverpool, UK

    Greetings, all.

The question was posed, 'Is Casey lying to protect her daughter, or to protect herself?'

I think the question is begged, 'Is Casey a pathological liar and/or sociopath?'

When is Anderson going to unveil our super surprise?

    August 12, 2008 at 10:45 pm |
  37. Lorie Ann, Buellton, California

So I guess the bottom line is that no one has any new info on Caylee's whereabouts. The babysitter has zip to add.

there is nothing more precious then a young child; impressionable, filled with nothing but hope for the future, but once you crush that spirit you can never get it back...shame on them.

    August 12, 2008 at 10:44 pm |
  39. Mary

Why is she afraid of being recorded. She is guilty of something.

    August 12, 2008 at 10:44 pm |
  40. pati mc., camp hill, pa

Casey should be willing to do anythng to help find her daughter. Why would you worry about your converstaions being recorded if you have nothing to hide? Just saying.

    August 12, 2008 at 10:44 pm |
  41. CAROLYN JONES

she can tell the truth.if you r not lying the recording dont matter?

    August 12, 2008 at 10:44 pm |
  42. Caren in Los Angeles/soon-to-be Boston

I'm with you on that one, Cindy. I've seen her on AC360, Nancy Grace, and Larry King, and she doesn't have much but opinions to contribute.

    August 12, 2008 at 10:44 pm |
  43. Maureen T

Anderson, I think Holly Gagne has had her 15 minutes. Thank goodness Randi Kaye is reporting on Caylee though!

    August 12, 2008 at 10:44 pm |
  44. Jolene

Can Casey write a note and mail it to her folks telling them the information without it being read by the authorities?

    August 12, 2008 at 10:44 pm |
  45. Roweena D'Souza, Seattle

was that the chu pacabra? it looked like a dog!

    August 12, 2008 at 10:44 pm |
  46. Sarah

Yeah, Holly hasn't provided any information. She says the same thing over and over.

    August 12, 2008 at 10:43 pm |
  47. Heather - Spokane, WA

If its true that Caylee drowned in a pool, then Casey would'nt be held responsible for it. If it did happen, she needs to speak up. Otherwise, these people need to wake up and realize that something bad has happened to Caylee and Casey had something to do with it.

How about a series of segements highlighting the responsibilites and importance of the VP to a President? The role has evolved considerable over the last several decades....and so far we're mostly discussing the potential candidates for VP and what they will bring to winning....what about after the election?

    August 12, 2008 at 10:43 pm |
  49. Mike, Vietnam

Chupacabras are no myth...in my opinion. They are evident here in Vietnam and I have heard story from other country too. They all just have different name.

Anderson: You are too funny. I give you credit, I wouldn't even attempt to pronounce it. I would just call it a wild dog with a large nose...Ha!
