360° Writer If I were president... we hear those four words a lot on the campaign trail. Tonight on 360°, we look at how John McCain and Barack Obama might handle a crisis like the Russian invasion of Georgia, when one of them is elected president. It's a touchy situation in Georgia right now. Just a few hours ago, Georgia and Russia agreed to a cease-fire proposal. The key word there is proposal. We'll have the latest details.
Also tonight, the raw politics of a cruical choice: picking your running mate.
Any day now it's expected that both Obama and McCain will reveal who they want as their vice presidential nominee. After all, the Democratic and Republican conventions are coming up soon. It's interesting to see how some of the people on each candidates short list are acting in front of the candidates and in front of the cameras. We'll run through the possible picks. And, we'd love to hear what you think of them.
And, in our Crime & Punishment report tonight, we'll have new details on the web of lies investigators say they're dealing with in the search for little Caylee Anthony. They say the false statements from Caylee's Mom, Casey, have slowed them down.
All that and more tonight on 360°.
Hope you'll join us!
