Whatever happened to the warehouses of cash that were found in Iraq when we first went there?

  2. CaseyJ - Palm Springs, CA

Given these circumstances a line needs to be drawn with funds for Iraq. This is just stupid.

Jen, the US didn't damage the infrastucture that much. More damage has been caused by the internal factions. Also, much of the infrastructure was a basket case before the invasion.

off shore drilling is a joke. That is not the solution to our energy crisis...

Perhaps Casey has an addiction and traded the baby to support a habit?

Yes, Forman is a good addition to the show.
About poor little Caley, it is very sad but
look around folks – it happens all the time.

Mr. Cooper and Erica, hello enjoying the show keep up the good work. I have many questions on the Caylee case as does everyone, but I being a Father of a ten year old, can't but wonder where is the father?

Why do celebrities always feel that they're above the law (e.g. Wesley Snipes)?

    August 6, 2008 at 10:53 pm |
  12. Heather - Spokane, WA

Someone as wealthy as Wesley Snipes cannot pay his taxes? What sounds wrong with that?

I don't think the revenue issue got enough air time! This is an issue more complicated than people here let on.

So if Iraq doesn't have the procurement expertise, with $80B they can hire some outsiders, or let us do the procurement while they pay the bills.

Our government loves to give money to everyone else but then tells those suffering here that there are no bailouts. I think congress should be completely overhauled, all new people, no lobbiest or special interest groups., and make Iraq pay every penny back with interest.

JoAnn, I believe the grandmother is a registered nurse.

Not sure glen...I always get a little creeped out when someone nicely committs suicide when the govt is looking at them for something like that. One person did all of that all by himself? What do you think about it?

    August 6, 2008 at 10:51 pm |
  18. Darius Wright

yeah. something is fishy. I keep having the feeling like she sold her baby or something because she is not even trying from where I can see.

Drilling is looking better all the time... That is some serious cash.

They have $10B in a bank here? Let's go get it.

  21. Lorie Ann, Buellton, California

Iraq can't get rid of all their money? I think they need to open their pocketbooks! Today!

    August 6, 2008 at 10:51 pm |
  22. Jolene

I agree, how hard is it to write a check? Unbelievable.

    August 6, 2008 at 10:51 pm |
  23. Dee F

Can I get that interest on the iraqi money?

    August 6, 2008 at 10:50 pm |
  24. kim-chicago

They aren't spending their own money because they don't have to...

    August 6, 2008 at 10:50 pm |
  25. Jen

America attacked Iraq aggressively with trumped up reasons and without UN approval. The US SHOULD pay for the damage that's resulted. Maybe it would lead to some humility and sober second thought by US administrations.

    August 6, 2008 at 10:50 pm |
  26. Norma

If Iraq can't get rid of the money ..give it back to American and let us use it for the U.S Soldiers who have been injured.

    August 6, 2008 at 10:50 pm |
  27. MaryBeth

They can't get rid of it all? What are we spending $10B a month on? They need to be cut off from the US money.

    August 6, 2008 at 10:49 pm |
  28. Marlon Canada

Did you know that America buys most of its oil from the neighbor to the north Canada? We are the 51st state anyway so you shouldn't worry about buying oil from people who don't like you.

I don't think you can believe anything Casey says. If she said the sky was blue, I wouldn't believe her.

If Iraq has so much money stored up why is congress giving them money then!? This is all of their fault!! Dems and Reps

Casey 's brother told the authorities that Caylee's father is dead and they aren't releasing his name because they are trying to protect his family.

When incarcerated everything you do can be public..........youv'e been read your rights and the state owns you now...........

Not for me to figure this case out with the scant evidence on tv, but it makes me impatient to learn about it and hear these tapes. But I don't think you can come to any conclusion without a full hearing in court.

Obama is listening to experts that is giving him advice on the oil problems and how to remedy the situation. This shows true leadership; listening, brainstorming what is best; and executing a plan. McCain isn't listening and can't even remember what he is being advised to do. The choice for the best leader is a no brainer – Obama is the best man.

    August 6, 2008 at 10:47 pm |
  35. Molly

This woman needs serious help. I hope authorities can find Caylee. They might have to do it without the help of her mother.

  36. deborah, OH

    Thank you, MaryBeth.
I would like to feel sorry for them, but I think they are just plain lying & covering up.

    August 6, 2008 at 10:47 pm |
  37. Jason - Orlando, Fla.

Casey claims that Caylee's father passed away last year in a car accident, however, even this is now being called into question according to Orlando news media.

    August 6, 2008 at 10:46 pm |
  38. Jo Ann, North Royalton, Ohio

That remark by the grandmother about smelling a dead body always bothered me. Does she have experience being around decomposing dead bodies? How does she know what they smell like?

Casey has not been convicted of anything, yet her conversations are being recorded and released to the media. Convicts may have no reasonable expectation of privacy, but as it stands right now she is presumed innocent.

  41. Mary H. St. Louis, MO

Yeah, something seems really odd... Strange behavior. Hopefully they can get to the bottom of this and find the girl soon.

    August 6, 2008 at 10:45 pm |
  42. Jolene

The police release her jailhouse conversations but not the DNA results...go figure.

    August 6, 2008 at 10:44 pm |
  43. Heather - Spokane, WA

People handle stress differently, but a concerned parent would be giving up everything they could to get their child back. Even showing some kind of emotion about it.

    August 6, 2008 at 10:44 pm |
  44. Jason - Orlando, Fla.

It's almost painful to listen to Casey get lost in a sea of lies.

    August 6, 2008 at 10:44 pm |
  45. Jacqui Chan

EJ and bloggers perhaps she is a psychopath maybe because she lies and is heartless – just a guess

    August 6, 2008 at 10:43 pm |

Kathleen Ol, could you say more with regards to the Anthrax thing?

    August 6, 2008 at 10:43 pm |

There is no one that has come forward and said tha tthis person is a bad mother though.

    August 6, 2008 at 10:43 pm |
  48. Lisa in Miami

Something is really wrong with Caylee's mom. Psycho.

    August 6, 2008 at 10:43 pm |
  49. Dee F

I was wondering the same thing Lou.
And where is Caylee's dad in all of this?
