Morning Buzz

Morning folks...

Well, I will say again...there is NEVER a dull moment on the campaign trail...Barack Obama came out yesterday to publically divorce himself from the Reverend Jeremiah Wright. It seems EVERY single political headline in EVERY single major paper across the country is talking about the event...take a look...

LA TIMES: Obama 'Outraged' by Wright...Barack Obama angrily disowned his former pastor and friend of 20 years, the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., saying Tuesday that Wright's recent comments about race, religion and the U.S. government were "divisive and destructive" and had undermined the purpose of Obama's presidential candidacy.

CHICAGO TRIBUNE: Obama 'Outraged' by Wright...Obama, appearing pained, did in a hastily called news conference what he had been reluctant to do since controversy erupted six weeks ago over Wright's sermons, repudiating not merely the words but the worldview of a clergyman who had once been a close spiritual counselor and by Obama's account inspired him to embrace Christian faith

WASHINGTON POST: Obama calls ministers comments 'outrageous'...Laboring to contain damage to his presidential candidacy, Obama said Wright's recent appearances had left him angry and sad.

WASHINGTON TIMES: Obama 'Outraged,' 'Insulted' By Pastor...Sen. Barack Obama yesterday broke with the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., saying he was "outraged" and "insulted" by his former pastor's racial and anti-government rants — rhetoric he said he did not hear the pastor use in church.

USA TODAY: Obama Breaks with Longtime Pastor...Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama severed ties Tuesday with Jeremiah Wright, decrying his longtime minister's latest remarks as "a bunch of rants that aren't grounded in the truth." "I want to be very clear that moving forward, Reverend Wright does not speak for me.

NY TIMES: Obama Breaks With Ex-pastor...Senator Barack Obama broke forcefully on Tuesday with his former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., in an effort to curtail a drama of race, values, patriotism and betrayal that has enveloped his presidential candidacy at a critical juncture.

Suzanne Malveaux will monitor the campaign trail for us tonight..both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama will be in Indiana today...we will bring the latest on the issues they are talking about AND, of course, the "Wright Fallout' should there be any more..

Susan Roesgen will take us inside Obama's Church in Chicago...Yes, the the place where Rev Wright preached from the pulpit...Is this a house divided? Are parishoners siding with Obama or the Reverend Wright? We will see...

ALSO, Soledad O'Brien takes a look at a study conducted by Roland Fryer of Harvard University. He studied 10,000 9 month old babies-he saw NO INNATE differences between black and white kids for the first 3 years...BUT by age 3 differences appeared...

AND Arianna Huffington joins us tonight to talk about her new book: Right Is Wrong, How the Lunatic Fringe Hijacked America, Shredded the Constitution, and Made Us All Less Safe... We will talk about her book and get her take on all the political happenings....

FINALLY...Joe Johns is Keeping Them Honest on a very expensive stretch of road in Florida...COCONUT ROAD... that Alaska Congressman Don Young got money for... Kinda makes you wonder, what's a congressman from Alaska trying to get money for the sunshine state? Yup, you guessed it...IT'S ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE INFAMOUS EARMARKS- TEN MILLION DOLLARS to be exact...BUT how he got the money...just may have him in hot water with the Justice Department. We are Keeping HIM honest...

It is still early, so who knnows what the day will bring...

You media outlets are spinning this Rev. Wright and Obama incident every minute of the hour 24/7. Whatever happen to the freedom of speach? David Duke said worst than what Mr. Wright but David Duke was protected by the freedom of speah in this country. And Obama should never been tied with this fool.

Sen Obama's campaign is coming unraveled. He cannot be honest about the Reverend. He says he denounced Wright, and Wright say he just said that, he doesn't really mean it. We now know about his friends frm his neighborhood, Bernadine Dorhn, and William Ayers, that cute 70s bombing duo, and the man with the Islamic Center raising money for Obama, his endordements from Farrakhan, and Hamas. His candidacy is a web of political mystery.

Now that a few of the Reverend Wright’s sermons have been made public, Barack Obama says that over the course of 20 years of attending church services and other functions together, he never once noticed that the man he calls his spiritual advisor was an America-hating racist.

There are only two possible explanations:

    1. Obama is too naïve to be the leader of the free world.

    2. Obama is a liar and an America-hating racist as well

Nobody put words in Wright's mouth. Nobody did a fake voice-over. Wright’s white America didn't conspire and drug him and hypnotize him before his sermons.

Honestly, when I heard his words I felt nauseous and wanted to vomit. This guy is keeping his folks down with sick, conspiracy; hate filled theories just like Farrakhan. Furthermore, only by going to HIS church and paying attention to HIS sick "charismatic" rantings can "believers” find out the TRUTH. This ABSOLUTELY reflects on the sort of person Obama IS. It's no wonder Barak wants to create "unity". Look at the world view of his divisive pastor who preaches DIS-unity. Wright's a real life black Archie Bunker and a throwback to ancient times. No wonder Obama wants "change!".

Suggestion: Obama, You want "unity & change? Start at home and end the racism endemic in your provincial community before venturing out into America and preaching to us about "hope” based on false & empty promises. You've turned out to be just another hack black "leader"; The kind that constantly evoke the name of MLK and try to ride his coat tails. But MLK, a true American hero & PATRIOT would collapse in despair if he had to listen through a divisive, racist, hate filled sermon by the likes of Wright.

Personally...I'm nauseous. The last thing I would want to hear on a Sunday morning is some sick clown dancing on a stage and “charismatically” telling me why we deserved 9/11. But the first thing Obama & his co-worshippers wanted to do on a Sunday was go see THIS guy.

Obama, come in give it up. You denial that you never knew of Wright's sermons doesn't pass the smell test. Your candidacy has too many problems. Even before the Sermons stuff ... there was nagging doubt about your patriotism as well as your accomplishments. You had nothing to stand on , so you took up the change mantra. Even I am for change .. so elect me president. Rediculous , how people are sooo naive to belive you. Ever heard of the Emperor's new robe? Only a child can spot you. THe adults are too occupied with what is cool . supporting a black man for president is sooo cool.
Yes, perhaps it could be . but only the right Black man. It is not you .. atleast not now.

He needs to step aside for the good of the party. God he is a liar to the nth degree. I’m actually starting to feel a little sorry for him. I never thought I would think this, but he reminds me of a seriously damaged child who becomes a pathological liar to manipulate their way through life.

Having been born and raised in a country that was (and in some respects still is) filled with racist hate, I have seen first hand what damage hate speech can do to a country and it’s people. The Rev. Wright seems to be a rather good proponent of the above and I’m starting to think that he is in fact, trying to scupper Sen. Obama’s campaign on purpose so that he can add fuel to his racist tirades and “prove” that he’s correct in his assessment of America today.
