Being here in North Carolina near Duke University it isn’t hard to miss the disturbing similarity to the alleged FLDS hoax caller. Live were ruined and the community at large damaged by overzealous law enforcement working on fabricated accusations and withheld information, mainly supplied by a disturbed woman and incompetent prosecutor. Didn’t anybody bother to check the phone records to determine that the calls were not coming from the compound? Isn’t that detective 101? I am not suggesting that there is not questionable conduct going on at the FLDS community, but did we need this three ring circus?
bell bottoms, platform shoes, and disco
those were the days!
