Live Blog from the Anchor Desk 4/17/08

Tonight, Anderson has an exclusive interview with three victims of sex abuse speak out about their meeting with Pope Benedict XVI. Olan Horne, Faith Johnston and Bernie McDaid were part of a small group of people abused by clergy who were asked to share their stories with the pope in a Washington chapel. The meeting was emotional, frank and hope-filled but will it make a difference.

Also, the aftermath of last night’s debate. Sharp exchanges from both candidates, but was the real loser the media?

And the largest child custody case in American history. David Mattingly was inside the courtroom as mothers and lawyers and the state of Texas battled over 416 children of Warren Jeffs' polygamist sect.

Hillary was magnificent and looked presidential yesterday.
Obama looked annoyed, tired, and talked in circles.
Hillary will do very well next Tuesday in PA – just watch.

Lesli, I guess I understand your point, but i just want to ask, we all know o the countless shady friends of the Clintons, she asys she has a lot o baggage that is why she is better, how is that I ask? If she has taken money from people who have intersts, or Pres. clinton has taken money like from Arab countires, how can we trust her to make the best decisions for the rest of us and protect her and her husbands intersts.

Point is that they all have things which may not what we like, but what is going to affect us...all these things, dont seem to show how it is going to affect us....where as Prs. Clinton taking $800,000 from columbis would or that despit the fact the the whole Clinton campaign staff, wants Penn out, he is only technically out, why is that, especially when he was allowed to continue to worl for Columbia all this time, durign her campaign...that does affect us....thats my take on it
