Morning Buzz

Morning folks...

Tonight, we continue our series of 2008 Presidential candidate profiles...Erica Hill uncovers the John McCain you don’t know. From the hard lessons learned in his darkest hours as a POW, to the political scandal that almost ended his career to the bitter fight of his failed 2000 White House bid, we hear from friends, colleagues and critics on how the Maverick of the GOP was born and how his biggest defeats shaped the President he could become. If you still cannot decide who you want to vote for? Well, then tune each night this week to learn more about all three...

Sticking with politics...It is the final face-off in Philly tonight before Tuesday's primary. Another network hosts this LAST debate between Democratic presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. BUT we will have all the fireworks and post-debate coverage with Candy Crowley, David Gergen and TIME magazine's Mark Halperin...

AND do NOT worry we will continue to keep you update on the what goes on in Polygamyland...a.k.a. YFZ (Yearning for Zion) Ranch. David Mattingly will bring us the latest and Gary Tuchman takes us to a NEW (well, new to AC360) Polygamy Compound. Gary says they applied for the building permits by lying and saying it was going to be a hunting lodge. Instead, the 160 acres in desolate southwest Colorado have become another compound for Warren Jeffs FLDS. Neighbors have always been nervous; now after Texas they are even more so. Investigators tell Gary what happens in ELDORADO also happens here. Gary investigates....

PLUS, we will bring you the latest in the Pope's visit to the White House and if we have time we will introduce you to Eric Thompson, a dot.com entrepreneur, who sold gun supplies to both killers from Virginia Tech and Chicago's Northern Illinois University. And if you think Thompson is remorseful or apologetic about his connection to the killing, which left 39 dead, you are wrong....Kelli Arena
has this chilling interview, especially today. Today marks the one year anniversary that Seung-Hui Cho killed 32 students and faculty before killing himself at Virginia Tech...

It is still early but this is the direction we are heading in for tonight's show....
