Tonight, we start in Eldorado with new details from inside the reclusive polygamist compound. Hundreds of children are in state custody and their mothers say they’re being persecuted for practicing an unpopular religion. We also have new pictures taken by members of the sect that show authorities entering the compound in armored personnel carriers and carrying automatic weapons.
The Pope landed at Andrews Air Force Base this afternoon where he was greeted personally by President Bush. It's the first time ever an American president has traveled out to Andrews to welcome a foreign leader and it's the first papal visit since the sex abuse scandal exploded. Find out what the Pope said about that.
We’ll have an up close look at Sen. Barack Obama and who he is and how he became that person. This is the first in a series of in depth pieces on all three candidates.
Finally, Heisman trophy winner Herschel Walker and his battle with mental illness. The NFL superstar says he doesn't even remember winning the Heisman trophy because he was too busy struggling with a mental disorder. It’s called dissociative identity disorder and Dr. Sanjay Gupta will have all the details.

Haha why would you lie about being older?
uh oh...I think I got the webcam shut down...it just went dark...woops...
I will be quite surprised ( probably shocked ) if the profiles of McCain and Clinton are "puff pieces" like Obama's was
Stay warm...Ending with snowmen..What were you thinking..Night all
Put him behind bars for tax evasion? I think rapist get off on 1 year probation...
why does the webcam end before the sohw does????
"Btw, how do they find out if someone has multiple personality disorder?"
I think one of the symptoms is that the person starts losing time, blacking out – not remembering how they ended up where they are right now.
I am a little skeptical about what I'm hearing from the sect women – it seems like the women are being pushed to the forefront to speak about this, while the men most likely tell them what to say. I am suspicious the women could be enablers of the abuse.
Just look at what happened in the cult – "children of god" – love, religion, and brainwashed mothers have enabled children to be abused before and this is a situation where the state does need to step in, investigate, and find out what's truly going on behind closed doors at the compound.

i agree with you..
wow this story is so surreal....almost like a soap opera.
Love watching Sanjay toss the ball
Wonderful piece Anderson. It shows the true measure of a man. Hopefully people will see where he came from to where he is today and have a better understanding of him. Thanks.
It's got to be hard to live with a person who has multiple personalities, especially when they want to kill themselves. Very interesting report. Just goes to show how powerful the mind can be.
Hey Erica, I'll try the hot water too. I am always cold.
Btw, how do they find out if someone has multiple personality disorder?
I feel sorry for Mr. Herschel Walker part of his life was taking away from this disorder called dissociative identitky disorder. I myself was abuse badly but lucky that i didn't fall into this life. I had relatives to help raised me now I am a artist in calif.
Kristin and Katie.....think carefully about who can win against a Republican before you make a final decision about your Democratic choice. Kerry was ahead in the polls at first and you know how that turned out. Nice guys don't always win.
shame on us for calling obama an elitist, wow i am so impressed by his ability to reach out to others,i am switching to obama
Carmen~
Pretty funny!
warm or hot water is suppose to be very good for you....helps you loose weight (it does for me anyways)
Somebody is being fair with Obama!
Thank you Anderson!
By the way I don't like your tie, I can not lie!
Hi Anderson
Just watched your piece on Sen Obama, really enjoyed it i feel he is an inspiration to all people regardless of color.
I wonder if it is possible for someone with multiple personality disorder to feel at home and at ease with all his or her personalities or if it keeps being confusing for them as well
Probably hurt a few people on the football field.
I think its great that this show is profiling all three candidates to give the public a better chance to see which candidate is best. Way to go 360!!!
Nice reporting Anderson..
Billi> People just can't help but getting lost in Anderson's eyes...getting mesmerized by his ties... 😛
this disociative disorder is very interesting....
thanks to Dr.Gupta and everyone else for reporting this!
Going to throw this out (and maybe get slammed in return-who knows?)-isn't it a bit late to put all the facts out about the three candidates after the candidates have done enough damage to each other and various media outlets have done enough damage ripping these three apart so that the American people will never believe anything again about these people without the proverbial grain of salt? I'm at a point where every story has a spin to it when I hear it concerning these candidates. Nothing personal against the reporters, but I just watch some shows where the agendas are pretty obvious. Not so much here but wouldn't this have been better before the blood letting started?
Glad the hot water is working!
Great show tonight Anderson and Erica!
Fun and informative!
Thanks!
Hey Anderson, didn't they tell you that they gave Erica your job while you were exploring in Colombia and that maybe that is why you didnt have your photo?! lol
Oh Erica, you should do a photoshop thing for him, he seems to have a good sense of humor! lol
BTW, def is a nice tie.
Speaking of computers, mine wants to hibernate...I have to bid good night to you all...
Betty Ann as a matter of fact it did talk to me. I think it came with its own batteries
AC I find it hard to believe your not good with computers. You have to type a million words a minute! I LOVE THE RADIOHEAD!!! Always a great intro! Who picks the music? 2 THUMBS WAY UP!!! =0)
Hi Anderson,
I am enjoying your retrospective of Obama and how he got to where he is today. Please, Please no more polygamy!! We have had this for the entire last week and now it continues. Have pity on the viewer who really enjoys politics. I know there is a lull now but please think of something else. That story is just boring.
By the way....looking quite dapper tonite, especially the tie.
I must be the only one finding it hard to multitask – refreshing this page, and trying to actually interact, at the same time as trying to watch and listen to the show.
Kristin, I don't think you're alone there. I kept leaning towards Clinton, then coming back to Obama...now I'm determined to sit on the fence until it's election time. The Democratic party is exhibiting so much infighting...I'd rather just wait until they sort it out themselves.
Anderson,
thanks for profiling Barack Obama! I do look forward to the coverage of the other candidates, John McCain and Hilary Clinton!
Yes Eva Obama for Man of the Year and Sexiest Man Alive, after Anderson of course
Look, I don't care how many good things a person has done, nobody's perfect.
I am a bit surprised to see that more blogs are about Erica and ties than about the life story of one of our candidates! Folks, we need all the information we can get on these candidates, don't you think? Listen up!
Anderson, how did you decide who was going first – and what nights they would be on?
I can't wait hear bulliet news or business. and where is beat 360??
Good job gang. Erica, you are the "new IT" at CNN. You go! Anderson, so glad you are back. Awesome, awesome program tonite! Goodnite bloggers!
Carmen~
Anderson's tie didn't happen to talk to you did it? 😉
All us stalkers are in the room!!!!!
You ready for a sports related story Anderson 😉
Great idea. Like the in depth reports on the candidates. It's great when you learn something you didn't know before. Looking forward to seeing the reports on the other candidates.
P.S. Erica so I decided to try this hot water thing... I actually like it, maybe it will help me cut back on my coffee consumption... !
Anderson, Erica, do you guys have even a second to yourselves during the show with anchoring, rewriting segments and blogging?
And they call him an elitist? AC I’m so happy you’re doing a story on Obama.
So many have misinformation, incorrect information, and obviously the wrong idea about Sen. Obama and where he came from. Obama is certainly not an elitist, but a man who has worked very hard to get where he is today. I cling to hope, that Obama will be our next President.
AC/Erica> So I assume Thursday there will be a segment on Hillary?
Nice piece on Barack Obama – haven't seen any photos from his youth.
Regarding the sexual abuse issue – how can you possibly be suspect of anyone who is brave enough to come forward and admit such a thing. What could they have to gain by lying about it? And even if someone would be low enough to feign such a thing, every case has to be taken seriously and addressed or, for the victims, the issue stays hidden like it had for all these years.
He did go silent on the war after he was in the Senate. Anderson, you are providing some very interesting insights into this candidate!
