An early look at 360° tonight

Good morning all...  What’s on your mind?  We’d like to post a quick thought from you on the blog..

Tonight, as John McCain yucks it up with Letterman, and holds a Town Hall in Virginia, Dr. Sanjay Gupta looks at his health. McCain has battled melanoma and says he has "more scars than Frankenstein." We'd like to hear, to what extent should voters consider his age and health in this race or... has he already proved himself more vigorous than the rest?

Tom Foreman examines why–despite predictions that this is the Dems' year, and complaints that McCain is old, inexpert on the economy, and out of touch with voters on Iraq–he's winning!  Yes, the latest poll shows him beating Hillary Clinton AND Barack Obama in one-to-one contests. Is he that good...does he have some magic that people haven't fully recognized? Or are the Dem candidates hurting each other more than people have fully recognized?

Dana Bash interviews John McCain today. We'll see what he has to say.

Candy Crowley tracks Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton in Pennsylvania, as Clinton says calls for her to quit the race give all the more reason for her to stay in it.

Sean Callebs is Keeping Them Honest, as a Congressional hearing examines whether the CDC failed to protect the public's health when FEMA sent toxic trailers to victims of Hurricane Katrina.

And, we watch for severe storms threatening the Mississippi Valley.

Thank you for your thoughts.

Age does not matter, if McCain would like to run for president I would still vote for him. I am a republican through and through, besides he is physically fit, right?

What Senator Kennedy had was the ability to bring people together. All People. The country lost a great man. Despite all of the flaws and negative things we as citizens knew about him, its ashame more wasn't offered about the incredible person he was. Its time that US Citizenry mature. Stop the finger pointing name calling and blaming. Tolerance, understanding and pulling together as a people is what is going to strengthen our country through these difficult time.

Well America, here's your chance, the Ted Kennedy Universal Health Care Bill. It would be the crowning glory of a stellar career and the true end of Camelot.

It has become clear in this health care fight that all who call themselves democrats are republicans in realty so we must run some real democrats in there place.

It doesn't matter if we have 60 votes if they do vote with us when it counts.

So we need to get them out.

    Pass the word

Two problems with Colin Powell's assessment of the Gates v. Cambridge police situation: Powell is a traitor of the worst kind. He shoved his troops into live fire for the sake of petty Bush politics. He should have been indicted and jailed and banned from every military installation in this country.
Secondly, he got this one wrong too. Unless and until every American is legally reguired, under pains of arrest, to keep his/her mouth shut, submit to strip searches, give a breath analysis, bow and scrape, and plead guilty on the scene every time WE are stopped by a policeman or questioned in OUR OWN doorways; then we all have the right to speak to OUR EMPLOYEES, be they refuse collectors, tax assessors, Sheriff's Deputies, Governors, Members of Congress, Secretaries of State, school teachers, Districts Attorney or football coaches, whether we're white, black or oriental. Surely, we still have that measly right left under what's left of the Constitution.

Will this simple Ideal help us all ? Please ask the country if they would support this Ideal to help President Obama get his health care plan paid for. We could use the 2 million men and woman living in our prison systems to turn generators, This free energy could be sold to pay the goverments bills and anything else we need free money for 23 three hours locked behind bars seems like a huge waste of our resources in these hardtimes. I need a job so if you need my help contact me I LOVE my country and the Obamas We can all make the U.S.A great again . togethier we stand divided we fall.

    Dear Anderson,
I love your journalism and want you to know that in the era after Peter Jenings , Dan Rather, and Tom Brokaw, you are giving TV journalism very valid legitimacy.
Dear Anderson I'm writing to you about the events in Iran and what's going on there. There is a piece of film which is 15min. and so masterfully summarizes the 30 years of this regime's reign. I think your show deserves to show this because I love your show more than any other one. Since it is a rule not to post a link I observe the rules of your page, but in the name of humanity I beg you to see this and show it to the world. There is so much in there that most of the world doesn't even know.
Please let me know how I can send you the link, I looked all over the page and your AC360 page doesn't allow me to send you this video clip. You have my e-mail address please let me know I'll forward the link to you. I also posted it in your page in Face Book.
I wish you health and success and keep up the good work.

Propofol is not just used by Anesthesiologists in the OR. It is also approved for use by Cardiologists for moderate sedation procedures.

I am the same age as Michael Jackson. I know what it is like to not have a childhood, I only wish he could have found the right therapy instead of drugs as I did. It is a long hard road, I am now just finding my childhood.

Not fair for Obama to spend time seeking the release of the two journalist in North Korea before seeking the release of the gays in the military from the Don't Ask, Don't Tell Prison.

In addition to a comment I've sent yesterday, I would like to personally thank Anderson Cooper for all that he has contributed. This will probably be my last comment since I'm a hermit by nature and prefer to limit human contact. Anderson, if you're reading this, thank you – thank you for giving a voice to the voiceless. I hope you will continue to do what you do best. The reality and horrors of war, famine, and poverty are not easy to bear or witness. But, you will never get lost as long as you have a pure and honest heart as compass. I hope you'll be able to kindle a light in the midst of darkness.
