U.S. intelligence fears Americans who fought in Syria could be preparing for a domestic attack

There are growing concerns over Americans who traveled to fight in Syria planning to return home to launch attacks here. The FBI and the U.S. Intelligence community are working to track these individuals. Barbara Starr has new details on why this investigation is so complicated.

Witness to the ISIS siege in Iraq

Anderson spoke with an American contractor whose air base in the Iraqi city of Balad came under attack by ISIS. He only wants to be identified by his first name Tony, and he says he only made it to safety because local villagers stood up to the militants.

Anderson discussed U.S. options in Iraq with former CIA and FBI senior official Philip Mudd and retired Major General James 'Spider' Marks.

Who are the militants battling for control of Iraq?

Over the last few days, the militant group ISIS has taken control of Iraqi cities, including Mosul .There are fears Baghdad could also fall into their hands. ISIS is fighting to establish an Islamic state across the region where they can impose Sharia law. Anderson takes a look at how ISIS quickly became such a dangerous organization.
