Web Exclusive: Two American aid workers infected with Ebola virus; complicates West Africa's crisis

Two Americans who were on the front lines of the Ebola crisis are now fighting for their lives. Dr. Kent Brantly and missionary Nancy Writebol are both infected with the virus.  This is only adding to fear amongst locals after rumors spread that aid workers are spreading the disease. Anderson discussed this with Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta and Adam Nositer, who is the New York Times West and Central Africa Bureau Chief.

Keeping Them Honest: Will a deal in Congress reform the Veterans Affairs health system?

There is a rare bipartisan agreement in Congress that comes after months of CNN's reporting on secret wait lists at VA hospitals and veterans dying while waiting for care. A $17 billion deal is aimed at fixing the troubled Veterans Affairs health system. Drew Griffin has been Keeping Them Honest on the problems at the VA, and he breaks down how lawmakers plan to use this money to fix the mess.

"The Hunt" for fugitive Charles Mozdir ends in a New York City shootout

After two years on the run, suspected child molester Charles Mozdir was killed today in a shootout with law enforcement in New York City. A police detective and two U.S. Marshals were wounded. Officers cornered Mozdir after he was featured on an episode of CNN's "The Hunt with John Walsh."  Anderson spoke with John Walsh who called this a tough ending, but a good ending for the family who pressed charges.

What do both sides hope to achieve through the Gaza crisis?

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is warning his nation to prepare for a long campaign in Gaza. There is also no sign that Hamas is willing to give up its weapons or even end its campaign of rocket fire across the border. AC360 looks at what both sides are hoping to achieve through this deadly fighting. Anderson got the Israeli view from Mark Regev, top spokesman for Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Anderson discussed the Palestinian perspective with with Mouin Rabbani, a Senior Fellow at the Institute for Palestinian Studies.
