Could a plagiarism scandal change the balance of power in the Senate?

A graduate school paper written by Senator John Walsh (D-MT) is coming back to haunt him during a tough election campaign. The Army War College is investigating evidence uncovered by the New York Times, suggesting that Sen. Walsh is a plagiarist. Dana Bash takes an in depth look at the case.

What is Putin up to? The U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine weighs in

Hopes of a deescalation in fighting after the Flight 17 tragedy are fading. There are new signs that the Kremlin is sending more weapons to the separatists inside Ukraine, while Russian forces are firing from across the border. Anderson spoke with the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt who says Putin could end this crisis with one phone call.

Video shows SWAT team storming a plane after mid-flight bomb threat

A passenger threatening to blow-up a Sunwing Airlines flight prompted pilots to turn around and U.S. fighter jets to escort the plane back to Toronto. Shortly after landing, a SWAT team swept through the plane screaming at passengers to keep their heads down and their hands up. At least one passenger managed to record video of the frightening scene. Pamela Brown has the latest on the scare.
