Pro-Russian separatists detain freelance journalist working for CNN

A Ukrainian journalist working for CNN is being detained by pro-Russian separatists. Anton Skiba was outside of his hotel in a separatist controlled area of Donetsk when the armed militants grabbed him. For the last two days, CNN has been working behind the scenes to secure his release. Ivan Watson has the latest.

MH17: Identifying the victims

Today, a new procession of coffins arrived in the Netherlands. The tough work of identifying the remains and returning them to their loved ones is just beginning. Anderson discussed the challenges with Chief Medical Correspondent, Dr. Sanjay Gupta and forensic pathologist Dr. Judy Melinek who is also the author of 'Working Stiff.'

U.N. school used as a shelter comes under fire

This report contains images of violence that may be disturbing to some viewers

At least 16 people are dead and 200 others are wounded after shells rained down on a U.N. school in Gaza. Families with young children were using the building as a shelter from the fighting. Israel says it is investigating the shelling and suggests it may have been a rocket fired by Hamas that hit the school. What is certain is today, young children and babies once again paid the price of war. ITN reporter Dan Rivers reports from Gaza.

Air Algerie flight's tragic timeline

For the second time in a week, an airliner has crashed in a war zone. Today an Air Algerie flight, operated by Spain's Swift Air disappeared over Mali's Northern desert. 116 people on board are now presumed dead. Joe Johns takes a look at what we know so far about this latest tragedy.
