After millions of customers' financial information was compromised at Target, AC360 wanted to know how the hackers accessed that data.
Gary Tuchman talks to a security technology expert about how easy it can be for hackers who want to access your financial information.
This is true! The advances in technology has made nothing safe anymore.. I even saw a video where they did an experiment to show that they can steal your credit card information from people withdrawing money from an ATM without actually coming in contact with the person. They just used some sort of infrared device to gain digital information from your card. My sister's credit card was once hacked too, and she only purchased something online ONCE. I, for one, love to do online shopping and this scares me. This is why I try my best to limit my online shopping or just use shared proxies so that I won't leave a trail.
For those who might ask, I buy shared proxies from http://www.squidproxies.com and so far I haven't had any problem. I hope this is helpful!
I had a phone call, which was place by imposters, pretending to be calling from Microsoft Windows. They told me that my computer had been hacked into, and that only they could restore it. I was supposed to give them my credit card number so that they could "fix" the damage. I did not do this, but when I finished routing them around on my computer, I found that it truly had been hacked! I had to have it repaired, to the tune to $80! I just want to warn others about this scam.
