MOM (Mark O'Mara) came across very well in this interview. I was having a really hard time warming up to him when he was cross examining witnesses and every question he asked ended in, "Correct?" And, I don't think I'll ever warm up to Don West, what with attitudes towards the judge and the games he plays (i.e. the game Wed. afternoon to drrraaaggg out the cross so that the procecution couldn't rest their case, geez).

But, what matters is what is the jury absorbing? Are they going to let their feelings for the Martin family rule their vote? Are the 5 mothers on the jury feel that Trayvon needs for George to be punished? Or, are they able to dig through all the hype, over statement, and fog to get to reasonable doubt on 2nd degree murder? Maybe we'll know the answer at this time next week.

O'Mara is an outstanding attorney. He is dealing with a bias judge who continually overrules any objections he has made including her allowing the admitting of George Zimmerman's school records which were just recently given to the defense in the midst of the trial. All through the trial she has been noticeably hostile to Mr. O'Mara and Mr. West. Despite this, the defense has succeeded in turning the State's witnesses for the defense including the lead detective on the case-Serino. From his testimony and that of John Good,an eye-witness this is a clear case of self-defense!

Mark O"Mara gets a 10 out of 10 for his demeanor, intelligence and righteous fight for Mr. Zimmerman. Mr. Zimmerman is on trial because the authorities do not want violence. Unfortunately, they have not only provoked it, they have focused it. From the very beginning, cooler heads did not prevail. Mr. Zimmerman should NOT be going to prison for this and I don't think the scenario is all that good either way.
