A town in Georgia says when it comes to your pants, it's pull up or pay up.
Having worked in a prison, the sign of baggy pants on an inmate means his available to action. This is what I learned from the inmates at a local prison, having spent a great deal of time with them.
While I think it is a pretty silly look, you've got to wonder why the USA can even regulate baggy pants but is incapable of enforcing some sensible gun regulations. Baggy pants just hurt your eyes while guns are a major and dangerous problem. America, land of the not so free. If they tried that in a European countries people would freak out.
Its about time Moultrie comes together on this issue BUT the sad part is the fact its the parents job to teach their kids how
to dress respectfully. Now on top of crimes in that small town our good officers are gonna have to stop chasing the criminal to dress ur kids.....to all my PD family I wish I was there to be the clothing ordinance officer......I would be busting left and right.....matter of fact I tell folks here all the time to pull up ur pants cause crack kills and I dont wanna see urs.
I normally am very liberal, and I try to understand fashion trends. But the bottom line is this, in this world you need to work to survive, and there is no law anywhere that says an employer has to hire you if you have your underwear sticking out, or you have a ton of tattoos. It says you can't discriminate against race, sex, pregnancy, religion, national origin, disability, age, military service, bankruptcy or bad debts, genetic information, or citizenship. So unless you want to starve, you better pull up your pants, or hope your parents are wealthy.
pants on the ground pants on the ground walk around town with your pants on the ground. what's wrong wit chew.
This would be amusing if it were just teenagers, but I have ( unfortunately ) worked with adults who dress like this. Men over the age of 25 who are parents.
As a long-time high school teacher, I say more power to those towns in Georgia that have outlawed walking around with one's pants down. How annoying those people are! Kind of reminds me of that old Broadway song: "There's a clown with his pants falling down...That's entertainment!"
