In an interview with Anderson Cooper, Austin Tice's parents talk about the desperate search for their son who was kidnapped in Syria 10 months ago. The 31-year-old Georgetown Law School student was in Syria reporting on the violent conflict and humanitarian crisis as a freelance journalist for several news agencies.
He lost contact with his editors and family in August 2012 when he was traveling near Damascus. A disturbing 47-second video of Tice blindfolded and bound was released in September 2012, but his family has not had contact with him or his captors.
His mother and father say it was brutal to see the video, but they remain hopeful Tice will return home. Learn more about Austin Tice at http://www.austinticefamily.com/
