Anderson Cooper shows a photo of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokar Tsarnaev as he was being apprehended by law enforcement on Friday.

I am curious, I have not heard any reports regarding Suspect 2, if he has been made aware his brother is dead. I am guessing so since has been quick to point the finger at his brother, but I don't know why no one has reported that or his reaction (i.e. did he realize that already?) I also agree with the comment above, what were they doing at MIT? I thought the one was a student at Dartmouth?
I understand that the Jihadists are fighting because they believe their religion is threatened. Congratulations Jihadists, you managed to kill three people who would not hurt anyone who would support oppression of freedom or religion. The youngest would probably have trouble spelling Jihad. Not to mention the maimed. Shame.
I'm from the Boston area and have been glued to the story about the bombing of the marathon. I've heard all kinds of questions asked about the suspects but two...first, if the older brother was out of work and the younger one was a full-time student than how were they able to afford one apartment in Cambridge, MA and one in Bedford, MA where his wife lives, and second, why did they even have separate apartments. I know the younger brother lived on campus in a dorm at UMass.
We have heard that the suspect's father is coming to the US. Can you tell me if he (father) will be allowed to visit his son in the hospital without some sort of escort?
Hi, I was wondering if it has ever been made clear what the marathon bombers were doing at MIT? And exactly what kind of disturbance was the officer responding too? I just find it very interesting that they were at such a prestigious engineering school.
where did the bombing suspects get the money for the cars, clothes, tuition, living expenses, traveling, bomb makinq equiptment? someone should ask the question and follow the money trail. also, what does his wife say about her husbands religious/terrorists beliefs? what does she know about his trip to russia? did his father know he was in russia for six months? how long did he actually stay with his father when he was over there. also i thot some reporter mentioned his mother had been arrested for shoplifting at lord & taylors...kind of ironic ttat their surveilance video capture their movements...
Here is a question relating to the Boston brothers and gun control. The brothers appear to have had fire arms. Where did they get them? If from registered dealers following a background check, should that check have been cross referred to the FBI and triggered a hightened level of scrutiny based on the 2011 inquiry? If from an unregistered dealer or trade show, would this not be another argument in the gun registration/background check debate?
two things..in the 1st interview with the father he said my son was with me the whole time he was here .maybe the feds should be bringing daddy here fast..also the man that fixes all their cars said the day before the bombing he came in there and needed the car fast he was different he acted like he was on drugs..maybe big brother made him take drugs to get him hyped for the bombing..it was out of character for him has anyone talked to the mechanic.?.Ide be afraid of the mother too....
Much has been said about the images leading to success in the Boston investigation and the importance of cooperation from the public. However, reporters are neglecting to highlight the significance of the early image: the abandoned backpack that was found, tragically too late, to contain a bomb. As an Israeli, taught from elementary school to be aware of such items, we need to educate everyone, children and adults to be more specific about “See something, say something.” No one, including Boston police who had that package in sight, noticed or reported that something was remiss with that lone item. This should be a teaching moment for America: “something” includes “abandoned items.” Let's begin teaching security in school by helping kids and their parents pay attention and report isolated, seemingly abandoned items.
No body has talked about where the older guy worked and where did they get there money to suport them self's to live on and also who payed for the younger guy to go to college.
Believe me that all of the militia, and expenses related to the lock-down, and searches are for naught. Why? the public really did all of the work. Social media exposed the suspects. Individual informed the authorities of the last suspect in the boat. Suspect # 2 killed his own brother. Why shoot at the boat when capturing the last suspect alive, was immensely critical. All the airing of the suspects were useless...because everyone was locked down in their homes. All the related costs; including revenues lost due to the decisions by foolish directives, amounted in the billions of dollars. We really should remove these useless government officials
Remedial action: Air the photos and videos. Allow the public, with millions of eyes, to peruse the areas for the suspects. Why air these data if the people are all locked-down in their residences? Several clues were available prior to the Marathon incident that these 2 brothers were planning these tragedies, as well as, a final suicide bombing on May 1st. where? I will post the three areas contemplated for the attacks.
MIT has a Nuclear Research Reactor very near the location of shooting of the MIT officer. It could have been their target for a catastrophic event, by taking out the MIT sector officer or to gain access to the plant.
